This was one of my more memorable changa sessions...
I had made a very nice amount of spice a few summers ago. It was my first time making it and I had already done some test runs. It turns out that I was quite the little chemist and it was more potent than I had expected. I would goop some of the spice out of the jar and smear it onto a small nugget of green. I would then pack it into my bong. Yes, I know it's a primitive method and very wasteful, but I didn't care at the time. I had so much of the spice I didn't know what to do with it, and it got me where I was going.
One afternoon, with my girlfriend at work, and the apartment all to myself, I decided I would enter the void. I had been reading in forums such as these of people doing back to back sessions, and since my test runs had gone so well, I decided today was the perfect day to attempt just that.
I had three nuggets smeared in the black oil lined up in nice row, like ducklings following their mother to the pond. I drew the drapes in my bedroom, closed the door, and arranged the pillows to form what looked like a human cocoon. I picked up the first nugget and packed the bowl. Before I knew it I was drawing in deep clouds of the woody smoke. By the second big inhale, I could feel the vibrations in my ears start. "Come on, one more big puff...do it for Terrance!" I told myself. With the third and final massive hit, I was gone, really gone.
It started out how most of my previous trips did. It would begin with a swirling vortex of patterns and shapes that would culminate into what I can only describe as a three dimensional image created from geometric patterns (closest image I have found will be added). They then shattered like a sheet of glass, falling down into what looked like an ocean. In an instant a huge rocky mountain rose from this ocean and turned into a castle.
I was then thrown into the sea and found myself swimming through deep underground tunnels with many obstacles that felt like roots, or long rounded objects. I was swimming like a dolphin, with my hands at my side, and only using my feet and legs to propel myself. I then told myself, through my own voice in my head, "Don't worry, we've done this before." It was like when I was younger and could control my dreams (I would be having a dream where someone was chasing me with a gun, and I would say the same thing. Each time, I would just stop running, let him catch up to me and shoot me. Then I would just start a new dream).
This trip was filled with many other visions and experiences, but the only thing I can really remember is the large amount of spiders. It seems to be consistent that in my journeys, there are usually these black spiders with symbols on their backs. They are often in patterns and similar in shape and dimension as the spider on Spiderman’s suit (I'm not a big comic book or Spiderman movie enthusiast). They don't really interact with me and are not crawling all over me. I just see them on most of my journeys (if anyone has any insight on that I would love to hear about it).
With no time to reflect on all that and barely out of these amazing realms, I started experiencing some open-eye visuals now that I had finally opened my eyes. I packed the second bowl. (Note: I almost always keep my eyes closed during these voyages right up until I feel myself coming back. Just my preference)
Three huge billows of delicious acacia flavored smoke filled my room. I could barely put the bong back on the night table next to me. The vibrations in my ears were amazing. It's like being on a roller coaster and hearing the click-click-click as the cars are ascending the giant climb at the start of those wild rides. That vibration tells you, "Ready or not, here I come!"
I was being flooded with the usual triangles and geometric patterns that often start these trips. This time they just all faded away, and there I was sitting next to a small fire in what felt like a jungle or forest. It was dark and the sky was illuminated with the stars. I was cross-legged and smoking a long pipe and then out of the shadows emerged someone or something dressed in a burlap shawl. Its arms where stretched out like a bird in flight. Along the arms of the shawl were these squares; and inside each square there were unique symbols. I would love to say I could remember each symbol, or for that matter any of them, but I can't. They were very interesting and I can remember thinking they had an importance and told some kind of story.
The shaman, or what I thought was a shaman, wore a crocodile's skull mask. Maybe it wasn't a mask, I'm not sure, but it was white and had no eyes. There were also symbols on the mask going down vertically from the eye holes to the nostrils. I do remember one of them being a spider, only because of the recurrence of spiders throughout my trips. The shaman had beads on strings coming down from his mask that make little clicking sounds as he shuffled and danced around the fire. He began singing quietly as he bounced gently around, but never once talked to me, or tried to interact with me. It was as if I wasn't there, or I was there only in the capacity of a spectator. When his song was done I looked up to the night sky and took in the millions of stars I could see, and then at my crocodile shaman. He noticed this and jumped up into the air, and in a large cloud of shimmering golden dust, turned into a black bird (I would say it was like a raven or large crow), and flew of like a rocket on takeoff. What he left behind was a large plume of golden dust, like Tinkerbelle’s dust, and as it fell from the sky it settled off the ground, still in the air, as four symbols I was able to remember.
That was the last time I had a meeting with this entity. Although I've wanted and tried to get back there, that's not how it works. My crocodile shaman is out there, and maybe has visited you. Let me know, I'd love to hear what message if any, he passed onto you.
As for the third bowl, I never did get to it. I was in such an amazing place mentally after that meeting, I just didn't have the need to go any further that day. I was glowing for literally weeks after that.
