I have already broken through once on 50mg of the spice.. At the beginning, tentacles made of shadows quickly consumed my vision, taking me straight to presence of the beings. Everything was going perfect. After some time the beings left me and I was left in my basement where the entire wall next to me had become an endless void where I peered off the edge. Completely overwhelmed by the intensity I wasn't sure if I should cast myself into the void or simply relax. I still have another 50mg, which I have been planning on using every chance I get. Every time I prepare for the next journey however something subconsciously always keeps me from actually removing it from its storage place.. I've also had experiences with other psychedelics and am already in the habit of questioning nearly everything during those trips, however this is the only time i've ever not known what questions I should be asking.. Anyone have any thoughts?..

If something is telling you "don't do it", then it's probably a good idea not to do it. Wait for a call.

Just my 5¢. Smile

I find it best when you ask no questions at all, Try and silence your mind as much as you can and just observe with every bit of focus you can muster and just let it happen, I find doing this usually doesn't allow there to be a ME to be scared.

Sounds like an intense experience, I've once felt like I got sucked into the void and it was a pretty rough experience and it lead to me taking a 3 month break. When I came back from that I had one of my most important breakthroughs to date with no fear at all. Could be that you just need a little break to integrate what happened and when you get the call to go back, go for it and just let go.

How did you ingest the 50mg? Anyway, one thing that I've discovered about DMT (and other entheogens) is that doing them out of compulsion is never a good idea. There have been times where I've done mushrooms just because I "felt like it" and had an experience that was neither good, nor bad; honestly, it was just really boring, and by the time it was over, I just wanted to go to sleep. DMT is a little more terrifying in my opinion, so if there is some voice in the back of my head telling me "not right now," I'm sure as hell going to listen. I only use DMT when I feel that it is time. This could mean twice within a six hour period, and it could mean once every six months. The span of time doesn't matter. Don't rush it.
Akasha224 is a fictitious extension of my ego; all his posts do not reflect reality & are fictional

Thanks pile of cats this sounds like it should give me some confidence. Akasha224, the first time was by no means rushed i spent months researching and aspiring to breakthrough and reach new levels of thought before actually attempting to. I know exactly what you mean though and would not ever take something of that nature just because i felt like it but i smoked it between two layers of leaf as recommended by a nexus member. The apparatus I used was a SYN Micro Thunderdome with a screened six hole slide. It has a bent neck and I used it off a computer desk in a medium sized low lit room with no windows while sitting in a comfortable leather computer chair.

My experience is colored through the christian religious practice of drinking ayahuasca, but I do think there is a reason why we spend so much time drinking low threshold doses (~50mg of orally active ayahuasca) and practicing silent meditation. The conscious ability to calm down your mind, find peace, and relax is absolutely invaluable during more intense moments. Often it means the difference from becoming lost in a maze of your own thought and a blissful awe of what you are being shown.
