It is funny that it seems out of place. Reading it is like:

1. Psychedelic research and medical progress
2. Visionary art and historical connections to psychedelics
3. How to break the law without getting caught
Every day I am thankful that I was introduced to psychedelic drugs.

Unfortunately in this day and age, learning how to break the law without getting caught is an imperative skill for us psychedelic aficionados. Confused

Yeah, but we should still pretend to be respectable. Researchers in particular may be dissuaded from associating with an organization that supports recreational drug use (as opposed to medical drug use) as it might make it harder for them to obtain funding.
Every day I am thankful that I was introduced to psychedelic drugs.
