So this is my second extraction attempt, it was pretty successful even though I had a few minor setbacks. My first attempt yielded a very oily product in which the DMT would melt in room temperature so I made changa with that.

This is my second attempt from 50g mimosa
It came out to just under half a gram of spice after I scraped up the bits left over.
I used cyb's salt tek both times but the second worked out better as you see. I think it is cause too much heat causes oils to be extracted as well as the dmt.

PS, is it a good idea to keep it in an airtight glass container in the fridge? My room gets pretty hot so i dont think that would be good for the dmt

I like q21s tek bro. Food safe a b extract. I pulled a g my first pull of of 100gs...firstbtime wver.

Yes..airtite n freezer to prevent possible oxidation issues. Look at my thread on rex issues...I had a lot of help there on similiar problems.

Agree with dimensional ONE! I was using a tray that wasn't soo, "air tight". Switched to a jar that was and got much better results. After freeze percip, I would pour off the non polar solution till I got to the thick extract at the bottom then pour that into an evap tray, worked pretty well with end results. It yielded approx. 1% alkaloid content (2.5g of dmt+NMT) out of 250g of ACRB. But I have room percip separate from freeze percip extractions. Ones obviously more pure than the other. Rooms always better for this tech im using. Freezing gets the rest of the goodies. Bark seemed average but was very pleased. Ground down to a powder is the way to go with bark, you get everything out of it. But the tech I used was joshisoms tech which asks for room temp percip first before freezing.

I actually have done a lot of research on here about the best tek for what amount. The ONLY one i have tryed was q21, thats it. Out of 4 pulls i got 1.25% alkaloid out of the bark. I had right at 2.5 Gs for 200G MHRB. Im gonna be honest, i think i can do another pull on the 200g and get atleast another 200mg out of it. It just never stops snowin here lol. From what i have read q21 is pretty good. I dont do the whole boil thing and pour off and then base that. Like his tek says...let the mix soak in a vinegar-water solution, then base the whole mix with lime. I usually wait 3 hours from the time i base to get a more efficient first pull. My first pulls with this tek usually yield from .8% to 1%. After that like he said, the work-yield ratio significantly go down. Granted, you can do your first pull right after you base it and continue to do pulls. I just dont like doing all of the leg work so i just wait. Im going for 3 pulls max on 200g, which i have to start over from scratch now due to a rex issue, (crystallization dish with solvent and 2.5gs fell off table last night)...at least its given me plenty of time to correct the issue more efficiently.
