I went on solo ayahuasca journey. Drank 100 g of yellow caapi. 1 hour later drank 10 g of Hawaiian Chacruna. Brewed using Ms Manic Minx' recipe( thanks Minx!). First off it was my first time partaking in an Aya ceremony.
I fasted six hours before journey. Eating only fresh organic fruit. Also, i fasted from any sexual activity for a week. I smudged my house with sage and burnt palo santo. I stated my intentions to Grandma Aya.
The Caapi brew I made didn't taste too bad, definitely very bitter but easy enough to drink. I felt the effects within 30 min. Because it was my first time I wanted to experience a mostly caapi brew and work my way into the light.
I know now why they call caapi the power. My body basically shut down 2 hours in. I felt tired and almost like my body was paralyzed( maybe because every movement made my stomach nauseous, therefore I did not move). I went from dream to awake/awake to dream. Very mild visuals. My senses were very much enhanced. Every sound felt like it was right next to my ear. Every movement meant so much to me.
First lesson: all of it matters, thoughts, behaviors, placement of objects in space and time.
She was working through me. I found it difficult to focus on the now, i would meditate in the now, begin to enter her realm while conscious and a sound or movement would take me back to my room. I am happy with my decision to fast from sex as i feel that aya was able to use my sexual energy for healing and body work.
As soon as i thought to myself, "i wonder when I will purge?", i instantly purged. Luckily I had my bucket next to me Smile. What an amazing experience that was! I felt dense energy rising from my gut and escaping through my eyes nose and mouth. I didn't get all the dark energy out, but it has moved from my gut to my crown. After my purge I passed out, had dreams of my land I grew up in. It was intense! Broken blood vessels around my eyes in the morning .
The next morning I felt a joy inside me I haven't felt in along time. It has been a week since my journey and I feel like a huge weight has been lifted off my shoulders. I am integrating. Many synchronicities affirm I am on the right path.
Also, i am brewing mimosa bark going to shoot for more light...
Any suggestions would be helpful. From what I have read one would need considerably less caapi when adding mimosa brew...
Thank you so much for reading and allowing me to be a part of a supportive and knowledgable community. It is nice to know I have a space to go to share my experiences.
With Love

Thank You for reading my post benjward! Here is the link https://www.dmt-nexus.me....aspx?g=posts&t=8972 . I also used the visual diagram found in the methods of preparation and administration forum under ayahuasca. Both are great resources and are stickys there. Fyi i did not use vinegar and in my recipe. I did put some in my chacruna, but it was such as small amount i don't think it made much of a difference.. Planning on going on my next trip next week with mimosa as admixture. Will post results.with love
