I finally did it!
Yesterday i had my first sesion with ayahuasca prepared in the jungle and with a trained shaman.

It was me and 2 of my closest friends along with some older dude i never met and of course my beloved shaman lady friend.
We took the train a bit out of town where the shaman picked us up and then we drove out to the woods.
We stopped by a very nice rock just by the water and made camp.

I was the first to drink and she gave me 2cups right away since she really wanted me to get far out.
The brew was quite bitter and had a strong taste of lemon, i was told it was quite potent and contained caapi, chakruna aswell as chaliponga.
It wasnt as bad as my homebrews with 100mg dmt per shot though, but i could tell it had alot of harmalas in it.

After some time she started singing some icaros which was very calming and healing for us.
Everyone who was present had to go to the woods several times to take a dump and throw up several times except me.
Im kind of used to it though since ive only purged once of the 10-15times ive had the medicine.
About a hour and half after the first dose we all had a refill, this time i felt i really had to focus to not throw up right away.
Also i started feeling heavy pressure downstairs but i kept it in since i didnt feel like shitting in the woods.

About 30mins after the second shot it started to get quite visual for me, but the mental intensity was still quite mild although very therapeutic and healing.

At one point i thought it was done and that i was sobering up, so i decided to smoke a joint of weed that i had brought with me, this was very nice sonce it killed my nausea and made me relax into the trip more.

Some time went and i felt really hungry so i had a few nuts and some tea, i walked around a bit and talked with my friends who also seemed to be landing at this point.

But then it really hit me! I started to feel wonky and my balance was shot, i proceded to sit down and the visuals just hit me like shot to the face!

I layed down and got a really heavy feeling in my whole body, all my demons got lit up and the feeling i try to run from everyday got to strong to ignore.
Then i felt it, i stood up walked away and puked my guts out!
The shaman started applouding and congratiolated me for finally purging.

It was very intense and i could feel some parasite leaving my system finally.
I beleive i had caught some kind of spirutual parasite while traveling in india last year.
After that i got extremely cold and had to lay down for a good while.

After this i def understand that there is a huge difference in drinking homemade aya in my livingroom and doing real jungle brew in nature with someone who is initiated in the traditions.
I mean homemade is good stuff and it hits like 90% of the target.
But these last 10% makes a huge difference..

Im really looking forward to do this soon again even though it was a very hard experience.

Good quality Syrian rue (Peganum harmala) for an incredible price!

Thank you for that, I enjoyed the report. It's interesting to read different perspectives in tradition vs chemical.

I got a chuckle, sort of thinking of a hypothetical Joe Nexian.

Joe: I'm so excited, I've never been to the rainforest to have an ayahuasca ceremony before.

Shaman: Drink this.

Joe: Oh, Chacruna, a hint of chaplionga, that must be a blend of red and yellow Yage, the yellow is if I'm not mistaken, 2012 vintage, before the rainy season...

Just to make it clear, we were not in the jungle but in the woods of northern europe.
The shaman lady has lived with a tribe in south america for some time when she got her training.
The medicine was prepared down there also.

Now a few days after the trip i have gotten a good grasp of what the plants were trying to tell me.
I def need to drink more soon and im even preparing some now.
I feel like i want to do at least one solo journey before mixing my energies with other people again.

If you feel you have gotten a good grasp of what that plants are trying to tell you why do you feel the need to drink again so soon? How long do you generally spend integrating what you were shown?

I like to take ayahuasca several times in a short time span to really be able to get some work done.
Now i havent done aya in a long time and i really want to use this moment of courage to drink as many times as possible.

Integration is def very important but everyone has his/her own way to work with the plants.
This was my first guided tour in hyperspace but ive traveled alone many times with various ships.
