HI all.
The question is for lucid dreamers. I am slowly getting into it, still struggling to stay lucid for more than 10 seconds or so, but eventually will get there. I can't wait to try to smoke some dmt in lucid state in the dream. anyone have tried it? I have tried getting into mediation position, and that was a proper trippy experience, so can't even imagine what would happen with spice. anyone?

I've noticed that when I sit down and meditate in lucid dreams I often go right into some beautiful tryptamine/beta-carboline type experience. Most of the dreams where I've smoked DMT I never really had that moment where I thought "oh, I'm dreaming!" beforehand. And often the psychedelic dimensions just sort of unfold without taking anything. Sometimes though I'll take any number of weird plants or bizarre concoctions and trip very hard in the dream. Also, try not to get too excited right when you realize your dreaming. This increases your heartrate/brainwaves and takes you right out of REM. Just play it cool and take a deep breath. I like to just relax for a minute, or meditate in the dream. Believe it or not it also helps to spin around- for some reason this solidifies your place in the dream and can prevent you from waking up. Have fun!

Its all about you ability to focus in a lucid dream.. Try some 5htp at bedtime or take some after the first 4 or 5 hours sleep durring high REM sleep... oh yes, I have heard about the spinning technique. interesting. and yep, excitement is the main problem for staying there longer. or sometimes I feel like I just don't have the mental resources to keep the dream going, feels like it's my responsibility to "fuel the fire" and when I let go, I fall back to non lucid dream. but even those short 10 seconds of dream is such an amazing experience.

Rubbing your hands together also works. I find that taking any kind of drug during a lucid dream doesn't produce any effects. I smoke, and nothing generally happens. Blessings ~ND "There are many paths up the same mountain."

I have not attempted lucid dreaming, but recently, I have had quite a few dreams in which I trip extremely hard. Harder than some some of my experiences with DMT. It is not caused by me smoking or taking something in the dream, it just sort of seems to happen. Last dream I had was in a high school cafeteria, like the one in the "High School Musical" movie. I was sitting at a table by myself doing homework and some girl yelled out, "HOW HIGH ARE YOU?" then, BANG, head slammed on the table and my entire body went numb and started vibrating violently. Insanely similar body load to a high dose mushroom trip. One that makes you go... oh wow... this is it... Before I reached the other side, I was awake. I defiantly felt the "fuel the fire" requirement as well. I think you would need to gather your "tools" to keep everything flowing, before you dive in. Its defiantly possible to trip in a dream. No doubt.

that's quite a dream, uftusaf123 lucid dream is our own psyche expressed by symbols and experiences and expectations and all that, that's probably why we need strength to keep it going, but I have a feeling that dreams also tap into something that does not necessarily created be our brain. or thought. it goes from somewhere deep deep deeper.
