PRE-CONDITIONS(mind)Set: Leading up to this I had some residual stress from having various obligations and unexpected things getting in the way of this experience, which was meant to happen originally two days prior. REPORTThe days running up to this experience felt like
things just kept getting in the way of the experience. My partner and I were both tired from work, or felt unwell, or a pet would be taken ill and need to go to the vets. This brought our mood down and complicated things. Finally on Saturday night, things calmed down. We were presented with a window. I ate a very small dose of valium, and 30 minutes later 150mics LSD, which we had both been dying to consume for a long time. It was very exciting to feel the first alerts of the acid and memories of past experiences poored into my mind, making me smile and relax into it. We listened to Tipper and Ott and got comfortable on our sofas clutching a balloon containing two cannisters of nitrous each. These propelled us into the headspace that we would inhabit for the next 8 or so hours.
Randomly I got up and put on this
Mongolian throat singing video, filled a couple of balloons, and sat back to enjoy the show - we found this simultaneously astonishing and hilarious,we were in tears, laughing heartily and bobbing our heads to the complex rythms. I'm sure the nitrous had something to do with that, but the range that these guys posess is truly incredible. Wonderful music to trip to.
After the show had finished we put
Ravi Shankar on for the next 3 or so hours. This guy can paint light with his sitar! Images were appearing, then vibrating off into the distance, creating a narrative and then linking on to the next 'age old story'. It is the best way I can describe it - on acid it is so clear and immersive. During this time we both started peaking and were glued to the sofa. At one point another ballon was administered. It obliterated both of our egos and we merged into each others energy. Bubbles of light appeared and started popping along with the sitar and tabla, for about a minute I was convinced I was hearing Angels farting. Waves of transcendent bliss surge through my body and I was so glad I took the leap of faith, tears of joy streaming down my cheeks. From here I visited some beautifully colored ornate light tunnnels. I experienced the familiar comforting feeling of interconnectedness. This intensified when I went to the toilet and I spent an age in there navigating this gorgeous neon network behind my eyelids. It was turning out to be a truly special evening.
A and I meditated through the peak, faces, figures, scenes all danced around, but the main body of it started drawing to a close. I reached for my Changa bong and furtively loaded a few flakes, my scales were broken and I just wanted to dip my toes in. The waters were lovely! Ornate patterns filled the room, intensifying my acid visuals by an order of magnitude, stunning plants and temple like decorations characterised my visions. Coming down from this, some shadowy tentacles reached through the visions and began to 'communicate' with me. I was informed that, yes, humanity is making a mess of things at the moment, there are groups of powerful psychopaths stearing us on a dangerous course. There was the impression of a power struggle. But no! I should not let it dampen my spirits as this will hinder me from making a positive influence on the world!
I decided to change the mood of the music, finding some icaros, finding music was difficult due to the fact that the writing on the screen kept shifting into bizarre glyph-like symbols.
This came on and I instantlly felt confortable with it, no pre flight anxiety, just warmth and confidence. I proceeded to load a generous couple of pinches of Changa to the bong and took a couple of large rips. What followed is just a shadow of what I experienced, it truely was out of this world. Truely amazing. Real life magic. Instantly the room emptied of all air. everything became pristine and changed into a light form of its original self. The icaro manipulated the visions in such a way that I could tell a lot about the Shaman's character. There was a lot of love and he has a great sense of humour. A 'little box of tricks' bounces out of the speaker and opens up, everything became very colourful and mutliple multi dimensional mandala type scenes are occuring all around me. There is information
everywhere in this place, it was very intense, overwhelming, but also comforting and extremely entertaining, a private celestial show. I laughed a lot. Once this scene had run its course another box would open and more mandala scenes would vibrate and dance their way into existence. It was hard to tell what was an entity and what wasn't, because everything was so
alive.
As the icaro drew to a close the journey began to wrap up. Thoughts came streaming into my head - How was that possible? After dozens of experience this stuff never fails to astound me. I felt like I had struck gold with the medicine song! It was amazing, I felt utterly blessed to have had this experience, the whole night had been utterly amazing, I had journeyed through world music in the first half of the trip and the mysterious DMT realm in the latter. I had progressively gone deeper and deeper and charted unknown territory. At that point I realised I had been dealing with a lot of issues regarding both courage and surrender, and I had transcended those issues. I turned to my partner and said,
"I'm not you, but I highly recommend you smoke some Changa to this song!"
She agreed and still tripping quite hard I loaded her a similar sized dose, started the icaro again and helped her smoke. She broke through for the first time ever in over a year of trying! I saw her face as hyperspace engulfed her, and instantly knew she had done it! Atta girl! She finally got to see what I was talking about, to experience the majesty!
I looked down at my arms - lots of small black lines poking out. Are these darts I thought? Hmmm, this needs investigation. I lay back and close my eyes, listening to the next icaro on the playlist. It's not quite as powerful as the one I have just heard, I thought to myself. A came out of her journey enough to speak. She was very impressed! The DMT glow lasted a while longer and we discussed the nature of conscioussness. We both agree that at the core of it, it may well be far more mysterious than even the most advanced monkey brain could truly comprehend. LSD & DMT help to show just that. Just as you think you have it figured out, the rug is swept from under your feet and a new layer of complexity reveals itself, it shows that even after all our achievements and advances, we still know next to nothing - but therein lies the paradox! Existence is everything and nothing, consciousness and matter, dancing for eternity!
I am still very much processing this. These are my initial impressions of the night. I may add more later. Either way I rate this as one of the most amazing experiences of my life, and I am truly grateful that I was privileged enough to experience this sublime journey through my consciousness and beyond. What a treat!
