Why could one not just start his or her own UDV or Santo Daime, spread the molecule that way around the nation and world? It would not have to be adherent exactly, there are different sects, flavors and cults of Christianity in the US for example, Baptism, Catholicism, Non-Denominational, etc, etc...just in general a right to use dimethyltryptamine as a holy sacrament in the use of prayer and mediation.

Wouldn't seem that hard if done properly under the supreme court's already done decisions...

Any ideas on this? We need to do this...
Meditate before you venture, take it seriously, use it as medicinal—it is good psychotherapy if needed. Realize that you, the Earth, others, and the Universe are all one and the same process. Then take that knowledge back to become, as you already are, one with nature. Eternity in every moment. Divinity in every particle. All is one organism.

well, my answer would be that I do not gravitate towards christianity at all, or any other abrahamic religion...so neither of those churches appeal to me and probly would not provide me with what I need.

I would be much more in line with (re?)incorperating DMT into a revival of the old world mysteries/mystery schools, from egypt to india to greece to scandanavia etc..

Im into mystics not priests.
Long live the unwoke.

I think generally is a good idea. I am here with Jamie, but I guess it could be done without any ideological context, just a group of people meeting to do Aya, DMT, and having registered their activity so no police would come in...

It will be good to know the Supreme Court ruling details. As far as I know the brew should have less than 20 mg of DMT, this is a joke. I think this is the same for peyote churches, very low mescaline count. And this is a problem.

If anybody knows the legal details, please share.

I don't see a problem with a 20 mg brew, you just might need to drink four of five brews in a singual ritual.

Not likely to be as simple as it sounds. For the U.S., the difficulties in making use of the religious exemption are enumerated by Entropymancer here: https://www.dmt-nexus.me...&m=239004#post239004

So the rationale is to use a legal-sort-of-religious mantle even though one does not feel particular gravitation towards this religious mantle for the sole purpose of ingesting dmt legally? I guess many would have some hard time aligning with that.

Also, on the motive: to "spread the molecule that way around the nation and world". It kind of makes you sound like you're on some kind of mission?

Given the recent Hobby Lobby ruling, now may be as good a time as any to attack the CSA on religious freedom grounds. If anyone wants to get on that...

I belong to the Church of My Basement. There is only one member, and no religious dogma at all. The CoMB is all about the mystical experience.
Fear, belief, love phenomena that determined the course of our lives. These forces begin long before we are born and continue after we perish. We cross and recross our old paths like figure skaters; our lives are not our own. From womb to tomb, we are bound to others. Past and present. And by each crime and every kindness, we birth our future.

The psychedelics are medicine to us, my husband has been cured from Borderline Personality, un curable condition by modern psychiatry, and surprisingly my condition fibromyalgia, has been under control.

By all means I would like all to get on the path of better life, spreading a word of medicine I see as my path.

Sharing, as we do here on Nexus Has been fundamental for our growth. I am definitely imensly greatfull for this site...

Sharing in person would bring all on a new level, and I dream of a society when it will be possible.

As crazy as this sounds I think DMT would get mad at me if I made up some nonsense religion just to smoke it legally (To be clear, I am not bashing the UDV or Daime as nonsense). While I very occasionally smoke DMT for recreational purposes I most often use it as a sort of spiritual medicine. Things like meditation and yoga are involved in the process. Really, smoking DMT is an immensely personal experience for me and I can't imagine using it around other people or with any dogma involved around it.

With all that being said am glad to have the Nexus as a place to discuss my experiences amongst those who can in a way "understand" them.

I'm sure you probably already have some knowledge about it but there are a handful of Christian and other Abrahamic mystics as well.

I would have no dogma, just simply would like to be protected to partake in DMT for my own spiritual purposes, why not, it makes the most sense?

So I see, I guess that would be wrong in a sense, lying. Well, I suppose I/we could always just start up a brand new religion which uses DMT, smoked DMT would be even more radical.

It just seems ridiculous that that cannot be done someway somehow...maybe it would be easier than we think? Or, could wind up costing tens of thousands of dollars in lawyer fees, hmmm...

I love your post 112233, mine for now is the COMOBY, the Church of My Own Back Yard, which also has one member, no dogma, and no rules whatsoever.

I know some communities deep in the in the jungle throughout Central America who practice ayahausca ceremonies and use other psychedelics too....They just aren't bothered with, not legal though.
