This is going to sound strange but...

I started feeling something in my throat, I started feeling my pineal gland. Where I was there were people waiting for me to breakthrough... I was reach and it felt like I was being sick but I actually wasn't. I could feel this sensation in my throat and it was weird, my body felt like it was convulsing a little... I got scared I'm not going to lie, I felt that if I left my body I would never have come back and I opened my eyes and just meditated... I've never had this before and I have to say it scared me a little.

Is this normal? Any tips?

Also while I remember I was laying down and felt something in my stomach, it actually felt like something was inside me and as I sat up I felt it shooting through my spin/windpipe until it got in to my throat and made me start gagging etc.. This normal?

There were brown colored beings waiting for me while this happened but it was so scary

Sounds like you probably burnt the spice. "Marble in your throat" is a common side effect of having burnt it.

Ok mate thanks for that, that explains the sensation in the throat. It was strange though as I felt something going from my stomach all the way up my spine/throat and in to my head and I can only describe the feeling of my pineal gland going in to over drive. In surprised I didn't throw up as I had eaten a load of food and the sensation was that of reach/throwing up yet I didn't feel sick
Also the effects lasted well over 40 mins and looking at my tongue on the mirror it was moving like a Mexican wave going up and down my tongue... Very strange!

Spice is a very unusual experience that opens one up to all kinds of "strange" sensations. It is best to approach it carefully, respectfully, and with a measure of detachment from anything you may see or experience.

Yeah burnt spice or dmt-oxide had you used something with left over spice in it can do this. I saw lots of browns too. One time I didn't even load spice, just smoked the oxide/resin in the plug on my machine and it tasted horrible, made me gag, throat burned, and my trip came onto me in shades of black and brown.

Bright black. Like blacker than black. And perfect brown.
Some of it was checkered patterns of black/brown. Sort of like I was in a kitchen where everything was pure black and brown.
I think this came from the burning taste.

Gotta be careful. If you choke and inhale some spit right as you're blasting off, it can be terrifying. Because you want to clear your throat since your lungs are inflamed and you're choking, so adrenaline is going...
But the DMT is taking over fast and can cause you to panic right before. Yielding a bad trip.

I've since re evaluated my method and I've not experienced this sensation since. I'm cleaning my pipe more regularly and generally "respecting" it more. I felt it was a wake up call as I was getting complacent and I never want to experience that again.
