Huh. Apologies if this has been brought up, I can't imagine it not already being mentioned: but I'm watching Noah on my computer and there is a scene early on when Noah is speaking with his grandfather in a cave. They are drinking tea, and the grandfather even mentions that the tea tastes bad . . . then Noah has a little trip. Anyone else notice this? Noah drinking Aya? Obviously it's not mentioned by name, but it looks like aya, and he has a vision after drinking it . . . pretty cool. Fear, belief, love phenomena that determined the course of our lives. The Bible is awash in stories of psychedelic trips. Too bad so many people take this shit as literal words from god. Let us declare nature to be legitimate. All plants should be declared legal, and all animals for that matter. The notion of illegal plants and animals is obnoxious and ridiculous. — Terence McKenna

Yeah, I like what Joe Rogan said about the Dead Sea scrolls, that's it's one big trip report. And this movie, Noah, is pretty terrible, by the way. The aya scene was the only part worth watching, really. Fear, belief, love phenomena that determined the course of our lives. These forces begin long before we are born and continue after we perish. I figured Noah the movie was bad. I do like the filmmaker mostly though and his work. How was Cloud Atlas? Have yet to watch that one. Most hardcore Xians dismiss the idea that many of the stories in the Bible were influenced in any way by mushrooms, lsd (ergot), cannabis, syrian rue, mimosa root bark, frankincense, myrrh and other psychoactive substances. Oh! Cloud Atlas is AMAZING!!! One of my all time favorites. I've watched it during my pharma come downs at least five or six times. HIGHLY recommended.
