I was wondering what would happen if one took a dose of ayahuasca (or pharmahuasca) intrarectally (i.e. as an enema). Since it would be taken intrarectally, by what factor should the dose be reduced? Would an acidified or a non-acidified brew be better on your colon? Should this brew be cleaned before going into the colon, and if so, how? I have found a shockingly large lack of solid information on this ROA and was wondering if anyone could volunteer their knowlege and/or first hand accounts (read-trip reports)of using this method of administration. I don't know if the harmalas will work if they are taken that way. I remember reading an account of someone who tried different combinations of oral/rectal/nasal administration of DMT/harmalas. It seems like there is better MAOI if they are taken orally.

I have taken up to 300mg DMT fumarate in H2O using that route but without significant effects. You will definitely need to get the harmalas right to get any effects.

I would honestly not put a plant brew up my colon, since it's almost a direct route to the bloodstream, so things that are normally broken down by the stomach can get absorbed. Definitely no acid in the brew, if possible, work with pure harmala HCl and DMT fumarate in water. You might get the best results by taking the harmalas orally, followed by the DMT rectally.
