Found these little guys in my yard. I was Bout to cut the lawn, but then I saw those.

I live in a location where mimosa pudica grows - these aren't sensitive

Also the persian silk tree grows in my climate, but there are none near my house - however not yet ruling it out.

And Desmanthus sp. Grow in my region.

Sometimes it's good for a change. Other times it isn't.

Good quality Syrian rue (Peganum harmala) for an incredible price!

hey there! thanks for the reply

I was thinking pudica when I first saw them, but they are not sensitive to the touch.

I'll probably just transplant a few and see what happens.

It definitely is not Mimosa pudica. However, Albizia julibrissin comes closer.

Here is a full grown AJ:

Perhaps it is a baby AJ?

Desmanthus spp. comes even closer, although has smaller ridges surrounding each leave, unlike the leaves on your plant which are smooth and flat from what I can tell. If I were to guess, I'd say a type of Desmanthus.

Another type of Desmanthus known as Desmanthus pernambucanus looks similar, perhaps wait for the flower to rise and that should give you a definite answer.

Hope this helps!
