Hey everyone,
Im from Glasgow, Scotland. Had my first affair with psychedelics during university, where i dabbled in LSD, Shrooms, & 2CB. During one particularly long lsd trip, I was certain that me and my friend were communicating telepathically. certain. We were (or we thought we were) scientifically testing it and I was somehow transmitting thoughts into his mind. After that trip I decided that either I was really onto something here, or that I was going mad. I also knew that to further test whether i was onto something real, would mean to take alot more acid - and if the latter was true (and i was indeed going insane) then the taking of more acid would surely hasten my descent into the madness. So i decided to stay off them for a while, and that extended tolerance break became years as we all grew up and stopped experimenting as freely. Throughout that time I had always known or heard about DMT, and for us it was the proverbial white whale, a mystical drug talked about but one that nobody could ever have a chance of procuring.
Fast forward a good few years and I hear buzz about that documentary 'the spirit molecule' from friends of mine, I watch it and it does well to recapture my interest in psychedelics in general, particularly DMT. It occurred to me that this was still one of the few drugs that existed that I wanted to try, but never had. A couple years again go by with this gnawing thought at the back of my mind, until finally just a couple weeks back i managed to get hold of some.
So Ive had my first experience on it, I don't know/think if this post is the appropriate place to talk about my journey in detail but suffice to say it really affected me, and awakened parts of my brain that had lay dormant for a long time. That was last week, and since then ive spent alot of time reading online as much as I can about it, all the old Gracie & Zarkov documents, listened to Terence Mckenna talks, and browsed on here as much as I could. Waited till today to register, and tomorrow I plan on traveling for the second time.
So yeah, thats my journey up until now. I plan to make this summer an exploration into hyperspace, and travel once a week, documenting each trip in a journal. I hope to Learn something, and hopefully Im giving the spice the respect it deserves.
Thanks for providing a great database of information for new travelers like me! Japansage

Hi Japansage, Welcome! I'm in Newcastle myself. If it helps, most people here want independence along with the Scots Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming "Wow! What a Ride!” ― Hunter S. Thompson

Double post, sorry. Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming "Wow! What a Ride!” ― Hunter S. Thompson
