Why is it that on sufficiently high doses of Ayahuasca, Mushrooms or other entheogens there is this 'breaking point' where your self-identity implodes and you're thrust into pure orgasm?

What are your thoughts on:

-The mindset needed/or helpful in ego-dissolution
-Recognizing your ego is no longer part of the experience
-Whether divine orgasm or full-body orgasms are what follows a true 'ego-death'
-If such experiences are able to be induced reliably through dosage alone
-How has such an experience changed you?

Feel free to write whatever comes to mind...

I cannot say that I've experienced full-on orgasmic sensations with entheogens, but mushrooms comes close to any psychoactive I've tried. The initial feeling with mushrooms is of pure, awe, divine energy that can become orgasmic.

The mindset needed is of just being aware and communicative towards who and what you are.

Ego-dissolution involves not attaching to ego and allowing your being to empty.

Reaching a level where ego is non-existent is very powerful. Similar to what death would feel like(N,N-DMT specifically). Though, not necessary. Ego is fine once you stop encouraging it and, with all your heart, detach from it.

I don't think the ego can truly die as it is an important factor in determining survival. Though, ego is completely transcendent.

The higher the dosage, the closer you'll be to whatever it is you seek.

My first experience with mushroom changed my life. Mostly on the subtle level but also quite significant in itself. My perception, attitude, mood, dreams, well-being, personality, inner self, universal potential, so on so forth, have improved on many different levels, permanently. A positive shift so to speak.

What can i say. Mushrooms have been my one and the only entheogen in my life so far, until i started to extract spice on my own.
First 5-8 trips didn't have any particular transcending effect but i did learn much about my self and i think that was because i kept my doses around 3 grams max.

Full blown Mystical experiences and ˝Ego death˝ started when i decided to experiment with 5-6g.
Fist one had activated kundalini and i had my first OBE that took me to source where i woke up as the source recognizing and remembering that ¨THAT¨ is my true nature. I knew i imagine/manifest physical reality for fun of it and to escape eternal loneliness. After that experience i only had additional two trips so far on my mushroom friends and both where full blown Mystical experiences that took me even deeper (i know how ridiculous that sounds) like waking up as source is not deep enough. But i stand corrected that i in fact have only had a glimpse of the surface and haven't even started to scratch anything. All of this so far has left me very perplexed but in general it made positive changes in my life.
I really don't know why i want to dance with spice after all that but i just wanna know more.
I am so curious (human nature)and my ego thinks i can handle and benefit from all of this but i also feel this can bee a double edged sword of universal proportions.Stop
How it changed me i can't even begin to describe since there are so many things happening that i recognize only after a long period of ˝regular life˝ has passed by.

In general i agree with what Cognitive Heart has written.
