I have just watched the movie "The Congress" and really this is one of the most amazing films I've seen in years. Has anyone seen it?

I really advise everyone to watch it.

Is that the one with Robin Wright? Looks cool. How did the story hold up throughout?
Let us declare nature to be legitimate. All plants should be declared legal, and all animals for that matter. The notion of illegal plants and animals is obnoxious and ridiculous.

Do yourself a favor and read the book.

"The futurological Congress" by Stanislaw Lem.

I liked Folmans last film, but i lost respect for him, because instead of adapting the book, he butchered it.

I haven't read the book but I think the film is just great. Loved the story and how it ends. The animation in the film is superb.

I don't think you can compare a movie to a book, they are two different mediums...

After finishing the film I wasn't too impressed with the story. Acting was okay, animation and screenplay was good.
