After doing research for four years, passing up opportunities that didn't feel right, and spending time working on myself and preparing for the time to do so, I was finally graced with my first DMT experience this evening. I wanted to come back here and share with you all, I've been lurking for a long time but not really posting, and I think that shall change now. I have a lot to ponder on and further experiences to have, this forum is invaluable.
I had prepared a comfortable environment at my friends house and insured we'd not be disturbed. I still had some trepidation about it, and it took me about twenty minutes to finally take the plunge. I'm a very music-oriented person, and I thought it would make me calmer to have on Lateralus by Tool. I was told I may not even hear it, which I figured was fine, I mostly wanted it as I went in.
I got two hits in and noticed the room and music started to dim and wave. I handed my friend the pipe and laid back. Vibrations went through my body and increased until focusing at the top of my head. I also felt a warm glow throughout my limbs that centered in my chest. I heard vibrating and ringing in my ears that sounded like frequencies being ripped apart. I closed my eyes and became engulfed in the most beautiful experience I've had in this reality of my consciousness. I was on a table, surrounded by blue, purple, and indigo pharaoh-type beings, and my "body" that I could perceive from where my "head" would be was only a pulsating indigo aura with a heart chakra beating energy through my aura and my throat chakra and breath connected me to everything. Everything became quiet and all I could hear was my heartbeat in the center of my chest pulsating out and my echoing breath The pharoah entities passed around and through me and seemed to transfer to me information. The background around me was purple and blue fractal rectangles. I started questioning if I would ever be able to return to my body, so I opened my eyes to see my friend looking at me and everything seemed fine. I closed my eyes again and returned to my "table", experiencing more fractal shapes, mostly of wheels spinning, and more pharaoh-like beings surrounding me. I opened my eyes again and it seemed I understood this reality is only a frequency and perception, I saw the overlay of other entities in the room, along with a strange yellow rip-light between what seemed to be dimensions. I also saw the wavelengths of the room and the items in physical "reality", and the vibratory connect between this wavelength and perception and the other I had seemingly witnessed. Everything in the room was reacting to sound and energy waves, it seemed. I started trying to explain to my friend what I was seeing, and could mostly only get out "Oh my god, the pharaohs are everywhere." After this I began to come down and my body felt warm, heavy, peaceful, and delightful. I constantly was feeling of it because it was amazing to be back in it and I couldn't believe this reality was the "real" one.
Then I cried for about ten minutes, trying to explain to my friend this was the most beautiful and transcendental experience I've ever had, and nothing like I could have imagined, even with preparation. I felt connected and one with everyone and everything. My torso was warm and glowing out with love. Everything within my trip felt familiar and familial and welcoming and warm, and left me with the feeling that this was dipping my toes and getting beginning insight, and I was welcomed to go back anytime. The total trip lasted about ten minutes, including the comedown. I've been left feeling purified, humbled, astonished, in love, cleansed, and whole. I'm very excited to see what my next experience will be after I let this one settle in.
