I do not think this is good. They stopped the at home grows and forced people to buy from big companies.
It actually kind of disgusts me and if this is in the future how the majority of consumers of recreational marijuana will purchase there green I'd rather it stay illegal then fall victim to big business. Some may say that weed is already big business with Mexican cartels but the only people I remember who buy that Nasty low grade brick weed are freshmen in high school (not that that's ok)
Unfortunately I think there is no stopping big business from picking up marijuana and restricting most consumers to buying bud from corporations that supply it cheap and very convenient .

1,300,000 / 50,000 = 26 pounds per plant.

Someone has no idea what they are talking about.
They won't be producing anywhere near this ridiculous overstatement.

Maybe they meant 1.3 million per year?

If we divide a year into two month flowering cycles you get 6 at the most.

1.3m / 6 = 216,666.666 / 50,000 = 4.33 pounds per plant per cycle.
Still grossly exaggerated by a long shot.

Either this company is inflating their net goal by approximately 25x! (annually)
or the reporter is just making up numbers.

This facility is in the old willy wonky chocolate factory where weed grows like oak tree's. GMO weed may not be so bad after all Smile

Perhaps I am asking the wrong questions but it doesn't interest me who you know or how you came to be here. I want to know if you will stand in the center of the fire with me and not shrink back.

I think we're moving in the right direction.
Large scale operations will tap the market but not dominate it.
Look at wine for example.

There will always be Marlboro, Budweiser, and Camel
and there will always be microbrews and homegrown.

I can see a lot of positives to this.
