Hello everybody Smile

For the past week I've been wondering about something my friend and I both have experienced while tripping. You see, whenever I smoke Salvia, I can suddenly hear a clicking noise. It maintains the same beat and rhythm throughout the entire trip. The weird thing is, this clicking noise correlates with EVERYTHING that goes on around me. It is as if everything in the room, possibly even the world, is directly linked to its rhythm. Everything feels so artificial and controlled in a way, because it is as if I can't even controlling my own movements, although I am completely aware of them.

Now, my friend was tripping on 25i-Nbome a few weeks ago and had an OBE. He explained to me that he heard a clicking rhythm and could literally see fractal gears enveloping everything and moving around. He felt like these gears were moving the space around his body, forcing him to move as they did.

To me, these experiences sound almost identical in nature, although he was given a more visual interpretation of it. So I was wondering if anyone else has had this experience while tripping?

The clicking sound, I think, is directly tied to memory, judging from my brief experience with amnesia and disorientation during each click-moment I had on a moderate dose of vaped DMT.

This is a fairly common theme with Salvia breakthroughs- an experience of existing as, or being a part of a giant machine or as cogs/gears/pulleys, or other interlocking parts of the machine. Zippers are also common.

Very interesting.

I didn't even breakthrough on any of those experiences. I only have plain dried Salvia leaves, so I must smoke 2 massive bowls in order to even have some pronounced effects from it. Smile

Dale Pendell says (of Salvia divinorum):

"'Bird tongues lapping thje mind.' We timed them: they hit four or five times per second. It may be the theta rhythm." (from Pharmako/poeia)

Sound familiar?

β€œThere is a way of manipulating matter and energy so as to produce what modern scientists call 'a field of force'. The field acts on the observer and puts him in a privileged position vis-à-vis the universe. From this position he has access to the realities which are ordinarily hidden from us by time and space, matter and energy. This is what we call the Great Work."
― Jacques Bergier, quoting Fulcanelli

Unfortunately not Smile
I experienced it quite a while ago and certainly can't remember the intervals between the clicks. It was just the fact that my friend had an almost identical experience, except on another substance, which made me wonder about it.
