Hi,

I've been going through QT's DMT Extraction instructions carefully and have completed step 9 and am going through 7-9 again. My solution's been standing for two days. The first time the naphtha was clear with only the tiniest light brown film between the solution and naphtha. This run though looks to be going the same way. I'm not getting the thick light brown layer I should. Please could someone advise me what I may be doing wrong and what I can do to improve my results?

Thanks,
godflesh

Good quality Syrian rue (Peganum harmala) for an incredible price!

hello godflesh

what is this thick brown layer meant to be? do you mean an emulsion?

you don't want a layer between your solvent and your base mix.

INHALE, SURVIVE, ADAPT

it's all in your mind, but what's your mind???

fool of the year

Step 9 clearly discribes emulsions and how to deal with them ,, meaning it's not what you want , emulsion bad Stop no emulsion

good Thumbs up

OK, I was concerned because only a tiny amount of emulsion was forming. Even after vigorous stirring the two layers separate almost immediately, but if that's a good thing then I'll just carry on.

I've just gone through the process again and I've got quite a bit of emulsion. I think it's just settling out more quickly than I expected. Thanks for the help.

If it don't subside try sitting it back in the warm bath and try not to shake vigorously just swirl or turn the bottle end over end !

Hi Godflesh,

You should not be using QT tek. Where did you find it? If it was the Erowid, didn't you read the explicit warnings before the tek?

This tek is horrible and unsafe in many different ways.
