Weird thing keeps happening to me in chat:

After a while I get a message at the bottom of the screen which says: "You are trying to speak to a unknown (or not connected) user: [iAwakenU]".

This user doesn't seem to be on chat, I've never had anything to do with them, nor seen them before.

Usually when this error occurs, sooner or later Chat crashes on me and although I can still type and see responses, all the names on the right hand side disappear - as does all the previous chat messages. Doesn't seem to be affecting any other users in chat.
I am a piece of knowledge-retaining computer code imitating an imaginary organic being.

I keep getting script errors in the chat, usually several times a day.

I've was getting errors like the ones Lichen mentioned when trying to PM in the chat.

Also we found out that in the news section anyone could post under some profile-less username "Guest" when logged out. Not sure whats going on there.

Not sure why that happens. I guess some username is screwing things up. MAke a screenshot of the members in the chat next time. That way I can debug.

With the new chat coming soon, no work on the current chat will be performed anymore.

I just found a glitch that I am able to reproduce.

If I type "jon" in the subject field and hit search it works fine. But if I then change the drop down menu to "match Any Word" the search window pops up like normal, but then a new one pops up that says "An error occurred in the database"

I noticed this happened at first after typing pot in the subject field and changing the drop down menu to display 10 per page. Now I cant get it to do it using that method. Sometimes I can get it to display that same error message but it says the error more than once in the same window.

When I go to edit my profile all of the text fields get wiped clean every time. Does this happen with anyone else? Not a big deal because it's not important at all but it is a glitch that I found both on mobile and laptop.

dadmt and I get the following error message trying to use the "music" on chat: "TESTos!".

[in chat] Links with an underscore_(parentheses) will break at the point the (parentheses) begins.

The forum "search" must be clicked, rather than using the "enter" button.

Chat messages are allowed to be empty {with a space}.

"Opti and I" shows up under my profile experience reports.
On one hand I think it's nice because people will see it and read it.
On the other hand I don't want people to get the wrong impression and think I wrote it.
Shouldn't it be moved to opticuswranglers profile instead of mine?
I didn't know where else to post this.

I just noticed a glitch within the forum in the active topics section: If you select my topics and than select the time frame since forever the Experience reports - Mushrooms and the Experience reports - Cacti seem to be coming up twice in separate sections and the mushroom and cacti experience threads are divided between the duplicate sections. Just thought I should let you guys know.

Using a iPad, going to /forum homepage lock a "tablet" view in (see second pic), which is not as rich as the standard web version.

Just click on a user, and then you can access the "welcome..." Link at the top, and BAAM!! Full version! (First pic)

Not really a 'glitch', for me this is a hidden feature Thumbs up | mods can move if they wish

EDIT: can also access the "welcome to..." Link when adding a pic to your post. Big grin

So when I go into "edit profile" all my stuff is deleted. Like my personal tag, interests field ect. All of them. If I wanted to say change a check box option I would have to retype everything back into those fields otherwise it removes them upon hitting save.

Not sure if it's just me, but about a month ago I stopped receiving email alerts when I receive PMs or when posts are made in threads/forums I subscribe to.

Checked my settings, my subscriptions are still there and the "notify me when I receive PMs" setting is turned on. My email address is still correct, and the emails aren't being dumped into a spam folder.

Any idea what could be happening?
