Hi guys, I am currently working with faculty and students at UMass Amherst to put together a conference on ethnobotony and psychedelic medicine. If you are in the New England/Eastern Seaboard area, I highly encourage you all to attend. We're bringing in a variety of speakers, including Dennis McKenna, Lyle Craker, Alexandre Tannous and others.

It promises to be a really interesting event, I've looked at some of the abstracts the speakers have sent in and they're very cool, covering a wide range of topics from science to spirituality.

The dates are April 12th and 13th on the UMass campus in Amherst, MA.
Tickets are $20 online and $30 at the door (if we have space left).

This is a great opportunity to network, get involved with the community and hopefully have a good time.

I would be honored to know that there were people as evolved as the Nexians at this event. Very happy

Here's the website, I encourage anyone who can come, to come.

Wrong corner of the country, man! I wish I could go.

Will there be a possibility of videos being released from the event?

That's largely up to the speakers and if they're comfortable having their talks put up on the web, although I can't imagine anyone would mind, realistically.

That would be super cool. Thumbs up

I look forward to at least hearing how it was, if nothing else.

Awesome! I wish I could attend! I briefly contemplated the possibility of road trippin', but April 12th is not very far off, and it's a 32 hour drive from here... Confused

I look forward to hearing about how it went! Thumbs up

It's very likely that I can make it. This will be a homecoming of sorts too.

Are you from The Valley, either as a native or as a 5-College student?

Yes, I did my graduate studies there. I love the Valley.
