First off if you haven’t had a break through or done dmt please think twice about reading detailed experiences. I’m a DMT newb, but having been around other things a few time I believe it is best to just understand the general experience so that your journey will truly be your own, no expectation, or seed planted by others… just mho…


Here in is my first break through:
I was give the loaded pipe and told when it started smoking, hit it get all I could in one hit and when I started to feel it, heart up tick, numbing or feeling on lips, possible sound change to place the pipe down and lay back.


So I went to the bedroom, set up MMW The Dropper hit play and hit the pipe. Once I got it started I hit the hell out of a big long draw that I know probably was too hard but I really wanted get a big good hit.

I was still drawing on it when I started to feel it. My heart rate when up and I beging to feel more jittery than normal and hyper aware. I realized I better put this down while I can. As I set the pipe on the floor and being to sit back up, every thing went cartoon(really solid crazy colors, earphone cord from white to black, phone looked violet with odd screen that was grey size perceived to be different too) … as the feeling intensified I closed my eyes and came what I call disconnected. Basically I was not aware of my physical body any more.

I felt/saw the presence of a crazy steamboat willy type character that laughed/smiled, not that I really saw it but that was the vibe I was feeling and he was saying come on the ride, and seemed to spinning the tunes at a dj table. Same time frame I was getting a purple spiral band spinning thing with red/green edges highlights and black back ground.

The bands became cubed off with symbols in them, then the color and patterns when to multi colored and intricate weaving in and out around and back, really hard to describe.

I’m not sure how long this part went on. It was very intense, once it kinda felt like it was going to fade, like it was going to end but ramped back up for a bit,. The controller, the steamboat willy guy who was the master of the ceremonies then had the patterns come around an tap me on the nose.

It was at that time that I became aware of my body, and was thinking holy shit this is intense. The patterns were still running and I realized I had just been sitting and resting my hands together in my lap. So I felt around to make sure I had not pissed, shit or cum on myself. Yes it was intense and I wasn’t sure how much control I had lost.

I opened my eyes briefly but closed them again and laid down. It was then I realized I was into the album a couple tracks but did not remember much after the first minute or so, the patterns were syncing with the music. This state was very nice and was similar to some of the better mediation experience I had had feeling wise.

I open my eye again and my phone looked normal, I check the tracks and time, it had been 13 minutes.

I stayed resting for a few more minutes and then went down. A few weeks later I saw the image that is my avatar, it was him the steamboat willy guy… a mushroom god from Algeria.

Awesome trip! I feel so ready for this now. The way you describes the changing of colors and forms reminds me of my trips, and it took me so much time to accept this kind of effects. It was too weird for me at the beginning, and yet I was asking for it!

I think I might know what your talking about being "cubed". At times during the ramp up or wind down sections when the focus shifts away from specific objects and presences, the fractals and geometric lines will cube out into many symetrical diagonal inter-mingling squirming sections. It looks like a diamond pattern with edges that meld slowly into the faster moving center of the adjacent diamond. If anyone has a second, looks at the windows media player visualizers named "gemstone matrix" and "smoke or water?'' it's much like a combo of both.

I really love the vibrant color in the beginning, it always reminds me of whats coming

Yeah after coming out of my breakthrough experience last night I got up and turned on the light to see everything before me cartoon like and very intricate patterns forming in anything they could, haha I just remembered that I looked at one of the paintings I had painted during an lsd trip which I had since forgotten what the meaning of it was but under dmt's influence it helps bring back all those thoughts and pointed out different fragments of the painting and the thoughts that were associated with them.

I really agree with you also on not reading too much into other people's experiences, everyone's mind is different and it's important to just experience what is happening while it's happening rather than comparing it to thing's you've read or heard from others.

Tony what I meant was the lines in the patterns which had been solid then became segmented. Like a connected line of cubes or rectangles all flowing with symbols in them, and the color changed also. I'll have to look at some visualizers, I know that there is some art work that is similar to the banding I saw at that time.

Cats yea the cartoon thing was crazy, I closed my eyes though because I did not want a trip/experience to be set or influence by outside items. But a inward journey.

Great report. Mushroom god from Algeria is one of my favorite mushroom related depictions. Mushrooms are my first teachers. That tattoo will look awesome! If you get it post some pics
