Haven't posted here in ages; thought I would share my thoroughly-revised "trip report" on my DMT ego death experiences. If you care to read, please let me know what you think; especially if you have had similar experiences. Cheers!

(for those that are link-weary, I attached the file below)

An excerpt:

"The experience of enlightenment involves a full blown epiphany of the Oneness of the Universe: time ends, Eternity is experientially realized, and subsequently, death is experienced as a transition of being; not the end of our existence, effectively eliminating any fear of dying. We realize - as a fundamental truth - that we are eternally-recurring beings. The person thus raptured experiences the death of his ego; his merely limited sense of self is totally dissolved, enabling him to comprehend for the first time the Ground of All Being; the Eternal Universe, of which he understands that he is..."

Disclaimer for those who may shoot from the hip:

"As a general preface before going any further, please let it be duly noted that I am acutely aware of the highly speculative nature of this text. I do not wish to be taken unequivocally, as I have remained as objective as possible when considering the congruence of this idea with reality. I openly admit that I could be completely wrong in my interpretation of my experiences. To me, the idea of the Eternal Recurrence has become a provocative thought experiment and not something that I am futilely attempting to validate with anecdotal proof, as I am most aware that no such absolute answer exists in regards to the question herein posed. The following, if read as a psychological treatise masquerading as a scientific truth, will most certainly be digested as a most sour and unpalatable theory at best. However, if looked at with a healthy sense of skepticism and an open mind, this theory can be very thought provoking indeed. To those who have experienced particular moments in their lives that give weight to such thinking, the idea takes on a peculiar psychological momentum that is quite uncanny; such moments are discussed in the ensuing pages. For those that dismiss this central idea immediately off-hand, you may simply stop here."

Take care!

(Mods: I did post this in the DMT Experiences sub as well; if there is a problem with this, just delete this thread. I posted over here as well because there is more traffic here and I would like to hear from as many individuals as possible. Thanks.)
