I came across a little foil packet of '5x salvia! So, I picked it up, kinda joking about it at time. Later, I rented a motel room to try out a new acacia extract. Forgot all about it the little packet in my pocket.

Got over there, taking my jacket off, I found it. My trip partner had experience with it, I had only seen horrific, traumatic you tube videos-you know, like the one where the guy just sort of throws himself out of his closed second story window while his girlfriend just kinda twitches on the couch... After watching him delve into it, and assured of a good sitter, I felt more comfortable.

I found it to synergize with the extract in a very comfortable way, after having come back into the outer atmosphere from hyperspace. Made reentry more comfortable as my ego was struggling with the fall.

More later sleep now, thanks.

Oh man I do apologize, I made a false assumption regarding legality and allowance of terms. And to be honest, I was still a ittle looped from the whole night when I wrote the OP.

Perhaps, I may be able to articulate a little better now with close to a week of rumination.

Now, when I re-enter from hyperspace, there is always this epic struggle between myself and I. By that, I mean that my ego (myself), once it is again aware of itself and of the threat to it's existence, begins to strongarm it's way back into my consciousness, with a vengeance sometimes. I've actually visualized it as this great, hairy, snarling, horned and hooved, minotaur-like beast, and this was no exception.

While this was not a breakthrough DMT trip, it was a deep trip, one in which I vocalized quite heavily (esp.for a motel room, lol) and was "put into" various automatic asanas and mudras (I have no other way to describe it), and in which I felt a burning through,a clearing out, so to speak, of the energy channels within my body. Cleaning the pipes, I guess. (which was badly needed, it's been a rough couple months since my lover attempted suicide, and thankfully failed).

So, upon reentry, the beast appears, and begins it's desperate struggle for my consciousness. My friend (with whom I'm much closet now) had loaded the chillum with the 5x salvia, held it for me and lit it, commanding me to inhale, inhale, inhale, until I was enveloped in a cloud of gritty acrid smoke. It was an overwhelming blow to the beast, and as I felt my jaw drop to the floor as if it were melting plastic and began to physically fold in on myself, it was dumbfounded by the sudden loss of a body to enter. It just seemed to soften it's stance and give up the fight. My friend helped me lay back in the bed and there I softly rode the wave back in.

I felt the two plants merge in the strangest manner-it.seemed like mixing two thick liquids of different colors ogether, or maybe clays, they remained separate and I could feel both the acacia and salvia distinct from each other. Then they swirled together and became something entirely new; a new color formed from the mixing of the two.

And there, in that bed and headspace, I was able to gently float, down, down, down, parachuted to splashdown. The anxiety of come-down was gone, and I was able to somewhat begin to integrate even while I remained high. It was beautiful, gentle, soft. Nothing like the terrifying, out of control, run-down-the-street-into-traffic trip I feared it could be, from those stupid YouTube vids mentioned in the OP.

My friend said that, compared to the other enhanced salvia he had smoked in the past, this was not nearly as strong, and that is just as well.

This will be something I will try again in the future, and I'm interested in trying it on it's own. While I find the mixing of acacia with my other favorite plant guide, marijuana, to muddy up the trip into what I call"fractal foam"; where the intricacies of the hyperspacial structures fall into a non-cohesive mess-CEVs appear as if I were looking at a color crt-tv tuned off-station with a magnifying glass, these two plants, once they"sniffed each other out"worked quite well with each other.

Thanks for letting me share this experience with y'all., and until we meet again...
HAPPY TRAILS TO YOU!

I recognize that they don't mix, they stay separate and form something completely new. Smoking DMT while under the influence of salvia made me realize for the first time how powerful salvia is, it was definitely more dominant than DMT.

hyperspatial cognitive symbiosis...?

Syncognosis?

A bit like... the internet??

My uncle's wicked steppe hamster might have to try this mix...

“There is a way of manipulating matter and energy so as to produce what modern scientists call 'a field of force'. The field acts on the observer and puts him in a privileged position vis-à-vis the universe. From this position he has access to the realities which are ordinarily hidden from us by time and space, matter and energy. This is what we call the Great Work."

There is no reason to fear salvia.. as long as one.. [uses common sense]..and doesnt try to drive or anything else risky like that...
Salvia can be very a very gentle and rewarding experiance..
Ive found that once one finds the right dose and strength that they like.. it can be a
great expriance ..[but not a party drug!]
Any experiance in the mind universe.. is posible with salvia...
After trying higher strengths i find 7x just right for me...Smile

This thread reminded me of the combination of dmt and salvia. I too experiemented with this and found the 2 to synergize very well!

For me salvia often creates sharp seemingly 2d angles and flat surfaces like stacked on eachother anId greatly disorients your perception of space time. But if dmt is added to the mix, these surfaces come to life, and a more three dimensional geometry is incorporated. It is near impossible to explain, but it is an incredibly odd experience and the physical (seeming) place it puts you in, is really something to behold.

On my salvia + dmt experience, a started to see the salvia geometry and one particlar 2d plane came into the front of my vision, an eye formed on the surface and began to open up three dimensionally so that the pupil of the eye looked like a black hole going infinately in, and this strong wind was being emmenated from it like it had a powerful sucking effect. I was fully immersed in this other world but rather gently, it was somehow not terryfying at all.

i smoked some salvia just last night while on the couch, and the subject of divination came up an inner voice challenged myself to divine a tidbit from this realm. and it was as if there was something just beyond my grasp that i could have obtained, a bit of information a whisper but it was not clear.

I did get a clear message that such a thing was possible however, and i was instructed by a voice to make an altar to salvia and smoke it there with the intent for divination and listen closely and i would have more success.

interesting stuff... Just sharing Pleased

I agree about salvia with dmt!
Once ..i mixed the two ...and the salvia made the DMT more visual!.. and melowed the experiance!

Im surprised why more arent trying this combo?

Mimosa dmt can be a brutal come up ..but adding a little salvia extract [not much] and it

tames the devil in dmt and brings forth the angle..

It should work even better with acacia confusa spice..

Booth dmt and salvia activate at vastly diferent ...[smoking..vapeing temps].... the plan is to load some dmt in sandwish of chore boy..and just a little pinch on the top of salvia 7x..

That way the first heat will touch the salvia first and release the .....
[salvotian A.. ..then shortly after the dmt will vaporize adding its effects!
I think it becomes more visual oev and cev!

Once I find the same magic door I stumbled into the first time, and find more of those little packets in my pockets, I plan on really experimenting with these two. I want to become more familiar with salvia on its own as well.I want to become comfortable with its effects and be able to discern it better during the high.

I always make an infused herb, usually mullien, but I'm thinking, maybe infuse some salvia? When I completed the above experiment
Wink , I used the salvia well into the come down, and while it was a weak 5x, the smoke was literally poured into my lungs to capacity over and over til I melted all over again.. So I'm thinking of infusing a little stronger leaf, maybe 10x or 15x, and taking in both at once may be in line for another experiment.. I haven't done any researching on this, in wondering if the ipa I use for infusing would solve the salvinorum in the leaf? But then I guess it'd just re-absorb, now fully commingled with the spice.

That leads me to a far more esoteric question. Often, I've heard people apply a female aspect to DMT, while I've always felt it as a male force (the soul-gasms are when he let's the universe have it's way with me...oh that's another thread.., maybe...) while I feel and have seen applied traditionally a distinct female presence with the salvia. While marijuana my.everyday plant companion does NOT mix with DMT, salvia seems to be its lover! The way the two danced before me, in an actual physical display before my dazed eyes, was as two long-separated lovers swirling about each other, taking in the other's presence before finally embracing and dissolving into one another totally.

This is exactly how I would describe the combination. It is near impossible to explain in entirety, but this is as good a description as any Smile

This too. I've compared DMT + Salvia to yin and yang. They are two sides of the same coin, but with opposite energies, in a sense.

I've made several different Salvia changas and have now pretty much perfected the ratios. I use a lower concentrate of extract for the Salvia, however. 3x - 5x is sufficient, at least when you're adding harmalas to it. The MAOI really increases the potency of the Salvia, as well as the DMT, I've found. Here's my 'Salvia Special' changa Smile

Salvia divinorum 5x - 500mg
Salvia officinalis - 750mg
Salvia apiana - 750mg
Acacia confusa DMT - crystally amber colored goo (2 grams)
harmalas extracted from caapi - 600mg

THE most potent changa I've ever made. Salvia really does marry well with Acacia goo in particular.

Oh, and I use acetone to make my changa and it's fine with the Salvia, so IPA should be fine as well. The acetone will pull all the salvinorin into solution though, so when you make this changa you have to evaporate your solvent in complete darkness.

Just started working with this plant and already feeling a sense of learning and development with it, and within myself. It's liberating. Very eager to dive into these realms of mystery and beauty.
