"The Nexian" sounds so pretentious. I have a better title: The Nexicans. Peace Fear, belief, love phenomena that determined the course of our lives. These forces begin long before we are born and continue after we perish. We cross and recross our old paths like figure skaters; our lives are not our own. From womb to tomb, we are bound to others. Past and present. And by each crime and every kindness, we birth our future. ---David Mitchell, Cloud Atlas

Nexicans ^__^ Anywho it'd be best to just go to a print shop and do it yourself but here is a site where you can upload the .pdf and print the high quality magazine for 5 bucks (thanks elpo) http://www.simpleprintservice.com/manuals

Great work team! ...but am I the only one who cringed at the preface? Everything is make believe? Why automatically negate yourself like this? This is just as make believe as reality world super serious mode. Yeah I mean I guess it's hard to take for real when dancing intergalactic entities are invading SWIM right now.

Mr.Peabody wrote:Wow, what a way to start the e-zine. I have never read the trip report by Hyperspace Fool until now. I can't describe the effect it had on me other than to say that it's the closest I've come to a DMT trip without actually taking anything. I actually have that cleared-out head-space, mind coming back together feeling that follows a DMT breakthrough. Unbelievable. Very honored to hear that it touched a nerve. I find the fact that most spice lovers I have talked to have experienced quite a few of the various elements in that trip--spread out over a number of journeys perhaps, or in different orders, or with a different perspective etc.--to be rather mind boggling. That so many of us have experienced the same things, from carrier waves to jesters... to time standing still... it is part of what puts DMT in a class of its own. I get giddy just thinking about spice. Anyway, all the best brother. And thanks UC. Both for crediting my Nexus persona properly... and even more for all your great work in getting this baby out there. I really appreciate follow through... something that is often lacking. This was top quality, thank you. However, 31 MB for the small version is already too hefty. I'd suggest either a bit less quality JPEGs in the PDF, or maybe use something like issuu.com, where readers can browse the magazines as page per page, making it easier to download overall.

The smallest version is only 10MB and what you are proposing is currently being worked at, with much more as extra in mind. Kind regards, The Traveler

fantastic job! The trip report could not have been a better start imo. Needless to say ive added going to a rainbow gathering to my bucket list. Great job! I died a mineral, and became a plant. I died a plant and rose an animal. I died an animal and I became human. Then why fear disappearance through death? Next time I shall die, Bring forth wings and feathers like angels; After that, soaring higher than angels-- What you cannot imagine, I shall be that.
Any speakings written are the purely fictional ramblings of an illiterate grande taco, and are false in the face of truth when judged by the all-father. They are in no way real.

I would expect nothing less than how well this is put together. Great Job. "..I find myself stirred awake by the ambient noises of the world outside and a realization that my train of thought may not be running on timeβ¦but I've nowhere to be...except here."

I haven't yet read all of it, but Ant's interview was truly inspirational. Goosebumps! I always wondered why he wasn't posting anything anymore, now I know. Thanks for that. Just finished reading this--I should have expected it to be awesome, but actually, I was still surprised by the level of awesome. I have zero complaints. Well done and bravo! Great that you are all enjoying it! If you read the work threads where the zine was put together you'll see that it was more or less wide open to anyone who had something of quality to contribute, along with the follow-through to complete it.
We will also be taking suggestions about with whom the next interviews should be, and what questions should be asked.
I want to personally thank UniverseCannon for pushing this past the finish line. Also a big thanks to Cyb who contributed in many ways but most importantly, worked nonstop for days on end to create the incredible layout of the zine, down to the last detail.
