Wow, great story and good advice.

SWIM always sits up on a bed so he can slide down if nothing else. Never mix drugs according to SWIM.

SWIM usually does the above two things you mentioned...

I have been alcohol free for over two years now. I only miss the ocassional draft beer with mexican food. mmmmmmm. But all in all, life is better this way.

However, I still smoked cigarettes up until the spice taught me that every moment of life is precious. It was maybe my fifth time using and suddenly I realized how rediculous it was to continue this terrible habit. So many times before the thought of quitting would pass through my mind but until the spice showed me I was better than that and worthy of health and long life I was enslaved.

This is WONDERFUL stuff!!! If that was the ONLY positive thing that the spice helped me with it would be enough.

As for your relationship with your father, perhaps this event is the turning point and will lead to deeper understanding. Always strive to be better, be patient with others and where they are on the path(ahead of or behind), love unconditionally and lead by example. Most of all, remember that EVERY moment counts.

Sidenote: Habit=bad. All habits. Habit=UNconscious action. All action should be conscious.

love all!

Great post Jason.

But what about a habit of always thinking positively? Of always showing compassion and patience? I'd argue that the unconscious habitual act of any of those isn't so bad... Razz

tropane: what were your intentions with this substance? im assuming by the setting that you were in a fairly experimental 'I wanna get HIGH' type of mode. don't do it again dude, if you didn't like it.

this is very foolish.. your father had every reason to call the police and probably should of. i am only dismayed by the light it would cast on dmt.. please think twice next time.

I wish you two above would read what I post a little better.
Like I said, my buddy usually doesn't use DMT in this manner.

SWIM learned along time ago not to use DMT to get high..
I think his problem is that he has such a strong urge to "learn more"
that he can't control himself while drinking.

If you were able to use the search function to find any of my other posts,
you'd know my aim is far beyond to get high.
Really I'm kinda offended by both of you.
Mainly the one right above me Razz

And every reason to call the police, "foolish"
Brother, calling the police would eh..
"Foolish" well... Foolish is jumping to conclusions with minimal information, thanks cuz.

MMM Oh yeah, what part about my buddy's drinking led to him using DMT in this
manner did you not grasp?

Seeing as this was 1 out of nearly a hundred experiences my buddy has had, and the only one that went this way..
I don't think I need to say any more.

I suppose it could have been..
Regardless, I'm hoping newcomers sorting through random information will
come across it and take it to heart if the decide to use DMT, that's all.

My buddy's well aware of what he did though.. Live and learn I suppose.

It's all good man.. SWIM just still has very bad vibes from last night so
he's a little touchy bout this topic. He's never had it happen before.

I think the worst part of it all was trying to figure out how he let it happen.

He plans on hiding his DMT next time he drinks.
He's gonna put it somewhere well hidden so hopefully he can't find it
while drunk lol...

i think i can relate.. there is nowhere you can hide it from yourself. you have to learn to pull tight on those reins and stop yourself even if its sitting right in front of you.. i can tell last night must of been a bad scene.. if you dont learn to control yourself these things will happen more and more getting worse each time.. im not saying you specifically have a problem i am just laying it out there.... you need to look at your life and the things that happen in it and the causes thereof and correct what needs correcting before its too late.. take care of yourself man

Nothing wrong with a few drinks, nothing wrong with a few drinks and some spice. But being heavily drunk and smoking intense psychedelic drugs is a bad idea especially in a not so perfect setting. It sounds like you learned from this experience and hopefully others can use your advise for the better. No serious harm done.
