So SWIM did an A/B on 300g of obtusi.
Vinegar to pH 4 + Salt -> xylene defat (weird emulsions) -> NaOH to pH 12 -> Diggers shellite pull 200ml -> freeze precipitate -> white crystals. The pull was totally clear and SWIM initially thought it had pulled nothing since shellite has a reputation for being a poor solvent.

Firstly, how can the product be verified as DMT and not salt or NaOH?

Second pull with xylene (200ml) and left to evaporate. Came back and the magazine used to cover the dish from bugs had fallen into xylene. Probably make for good enhanced magazine.

Third attempt with shellite (400ml), left to heat up all day under hot sun (30 deg). Pull had a greener tinge but has yet had any crystals drop out in freeze precipitate.
Is there sonething wrong? Or could the material be all pulled out from the first two attempts?

As far as identifying the product, if it smells like dmt then it's dmt... Also you may benefit from usin 50ml of solvent per pull. Try open air evaping solvent until it turns "milky" or "cloudy" and then freeze precipitating that which should be a much smaller amount than what you currently have. Also evap all solvent you have used open air, not just on new pulls. You may save your product. Also if you think it to be contaminated redisolve it in hot solvent then perform a sodium carbonate wash to clean the crystals 2-3 times to be sure.
