There are a whole load of lectures on the philosophy of mind, a good 20 hours or so, given by John Searle on youtube. He goes through the history before coming upon more contemporary ideas later in the series. I find him really easy to listen to. I've become quite addicted. Here is the first one.

If anyone does check them out, I've found it easy to accidentally click over into the philosophy of language lectures whilst clicking for the next video. Equally interesting but confusing if you're expecting a continuation.

I'll probably chew through those too at some point.
