Hello all,
I had been considering buying the Axepack that you can purchase with the GVG for something like $20 extra (I didn't purchase one when I originally got my GVG so it would have been $35-$40 at this point), but I decided it would be more fun and perhaps more appropriate to make my own custom case for this wonderful tool. I used an interestingly-shaped cigar box which I found at a local tobacco store, some foam from an old camera case which I had kicking around, and the decoration on it is a little meditating Buddha medallion/coin I found at one of my favorite local stores. I do not necessarily consider myself to be a Buddhist, though I do appreciate much of the philosophy, I just figured it would look nice and it might help to create a peaceful new home for my most useful and elegant piece of glass.

I apologize for the low quality of the pictures, I do not own a digital camera aside from the one on my cell phone. But I just wanted to share my new creation (and perhaps show it off just a tiny bit Wink ), and I figured you folks might appreciate it. I would be thrilled to hear anyone's questions, comments, suggestions for improvement, or see pictures if anyone else has a nice custom-made case that they would like to share! Very happy

Wow, awesome job there. I like it a lot. I think the Buddha adds a nice touch to it.

I personally have the axe case, which i love, but would not be disappointed if i had one like yours.

Very cool

Thats very cool
"A troop of elves smashes down your front door and rotates and balances the wheels on the after death vehicle, present you with the bill and then depart. And it's completely paradigm shattering. I mean, ya know, union with the white light you could handle. An invasion of your apartment by jeweled self dribbling basketballs from hyperspace that are speaking in demonic Greek is NOT something that you anticipated and could handle!' -T.M.
