This reminds me of something Hakim Bey wrote about in his Poetic Terrorism. Where did you get this idea from? You are aware that defacing currency is a Federal Felony in the United States, right? I'm right there with you in spirit, but I'm not sure this is the most pragmatic way to accomplish your goals. What exactly do you hope to accomplish by this? I understand if you're bored and like to doodle on money, but seriously, what weak mind is going to be influenced by this that isn't already on board? I personally like the five dollar bill posted above: it spreads humor and amusement. Laughter is the key to freedom, not shame. More boners, less slaves. Fear, belief, love phenomena that determined the course of our lives. These forces begin long before we are born and continue after we perish. We cross and recross our old paths like figure skaters; our lives are not our own. From womb to tomb, we are bound to others. Past and present. On more subtile variation that came to mind: Change the backside heading to "UNITED $LAVES OF AMERICA"

I took a close look at my euro bills again. I never noticed before, how uterly lifeless, boring and emotionless these things are. Just an overload of safty features, ugly colours, a bunch of architetural features, that seems to try to find some common meaning that europeans are supposed to identify with, no text but the single word EURO (with greek translation) No faces like on many of the old currencies. I mean, what could you posssibly do creatively with such a thing?

Defacing currency is not a felony. Defacing currency and putting it back into circulation is though. I was once handed a bill that said "United States of America China". "I am cursed by the blossoming knowledge of my feminine ideal and she looks suspiciously like you."
