Hello All,

While I have close to 100 salvia trips under my belt over the last 4 years, I have only used one brand until recently. When I first started experimenting, the only local brand for purchase was Salvia Zone. I used their Plain Leaf, Yellow, Red, and Blue variations over the years. Recently, I ran out of Blue (120 mg/gram, non-standardized) and found they are no longer available. I then purchased a gram of ~50x (200 mg/gram, standardized supposedly) from another vendor online.

I have had an opportunity to use the new stuff a couple of times now, and each time the visuals were very faded and almost lacking color. The previous brand gave me very bright, vivid visuals whether my eyes were closed or open. The other qualities of the experience are pretty much the same - the only thing noticeably different is the visuals.

Has anyone else had similar experiences with some brands of salvia and not others? Any thoughts on this? Perhaps I shouldn't be, but the lack of clear visuals has been disappointing. I haven't had a chance to use some of the remaining Salvia Zone brand to verify I still get vivid colors with the older stuff but will probably try the next time I decide to journey for comparison.

(Although extracting my own salvinorin looks relatively easy, I haven't felt like doing my own as of yet for a variety of reasons...)

Warm Regards!

SalviaZone is what I used to smoke when I would smoke Salvia, and that stuff is potent. I can't necessarily vouch for a difference in other brands either, but I can't say I'm necessarily surprised that another brand pales in comparison to their potent extracts.

I only have about 45 salvia trips under my belt and must say that the color green is common with salvia trips on 20..40...60x extracts..
I have seen ..greens..reds...browns..tans ...but the emotions I experianced are the most colorfull..
I once found myself waving back and forth in a green field full of salvia plants..i felt as if i were a salvia plant.. then in a mountain valley far away and could even feel the suns rays on me...
I often play native american music that keeps me calm and makes the salvia trip very spiritual...
I really respect the power of salvia and only do it when im in the mind state..
DMT has more intense colors ive heard,,
But color comes in diferent forms in the mind..not just colors you can see but colors can also be ..felt through emotion...and the complex launguage of the mind...
Play the right music with salvia and the music can guide the trip in a more positive way...

What are the reasons? There's no substitute for doing your own extraction IMO.

Considering how simple and relatively quick a Salvia extraction can be performed, I would say it's worth it. Salvia vendors overprice their extracts so much. And often you'll end up with a situation like you're describing.

Get some good plain leaf and extract your own Pleased
