Hey guys,

Last night I had one of the most different DMT experiences I have ever had. I'm still pretty new to it, this was probably my 10th time hitting the spice.

Anyway, this is what happened to the best of my recollection.

I loaded up my pipe with my normal amount (not sure on exact weight - but its just a couple of small crystals) lit it and and took the first hit. I usually try for three hits, a small one first, then another two bigger ones.

As i was breathing in the 2nd hit i could tell almost instantly that this was going to be something different, sometime entirely new that i hadn't experienced yet.

As I was breathing in I got the usual geometrical visions, everything snapped into sharp corners and started vibrating, i got a ringing in my ears (which is normal for me) but this time it got so much louder and built up into a crescendo. My hands grew to about 4 times their normal size and were vibrating and shimmering. As a breathed out the 2nd hit i could feel myself slipping away, normally I can roll out of my chair into my bed but this time i couldn't move.

The next thing i remember is everything going a brilliant white color. The ringing in my ears stopped and all I could see was this brilliant bright white. Then black symbols appeared all over the place. I don't know exactly what they were, the best way I can describe one of the symbols is like the Pi symbol with a oval on the top of it. Even with my eyes open (I think they were open) Everything around me had disappeared into this white space it was totally surrounding me, with the only other things being the black symbols.

The most unnerving thing that also happened was the physical feeling I had that my teeth were falling out. I know this sounds weird but I felt as though all my teeth were missing, i felt like i was being stripped down of everything. It wasn't a painful feeling, but it was something I just new was happening.

I came around about 15 minutes later, feeling shaken to my absolute core.

My previous experiences have not been this intense even when I have had a bigger hit. I have seen the Jester that lots of people talk about, and had some pretty crazy pattern / symbol shows, but this time everything felt way more real, and I new something was different from the start.

Just writing this down is making my hands shake... I don't know what to make of it.

Good quality Syrian rue (Peganum harmala) for an incredible price!

No, its from a friend, i assume its clean. We all have not really had any issues with it until now, but thats just me.

A few of my friends have the same stuff and we all get the ear ringing.

The ringing in your ears, etc i must say is quite bizarre....

its actually quite archetypical.

we even have a word for it - the carrier wave.

you should check out the hyerspace lexicon when you have some time

Yes i also get that ringing in my ears. As do others that i´ve shared spice with. It doesn´t get really loud with me, but it does with others.

I´ve also taken spice about 10 times (without a breakthrough) and your experiences (untill this last one) sound similar to mine. Probably you´ve just taken a next step. So it´s a good thing Pleased

Perhaps this was my first real breakthrough and the other times were only minor experiences.... It's amazing that even though I've done bigger hits that this experience was so different.

Either way this has shaken me up a bit.. Need to do some soul searching before next time.

For me this is very striking to see that you had a almost exactly the same experience as i did. With me it also shook me to the core and resulted in great panic (it was my first real hyperslab so to say). For me the room also turned white and the the black symbols where creeping up from behind until it filled everything. Almost like a root system. By that time i had the feeling like o now you really did it, you have broken yourself beyond repair ... panic... hard beat trough the roof, etcetera...

My advise would be take some time to think about it and integrate before you return.

take care

I tend to find the louder the increasing carrier wave gets (in the offset, while I am still able to notice) the more intense and deeper the journey will be..

Those vibrating wave noises can also seem to just stop for a while (as has happened to me a few times, especially during honeymoon period) which can be rather disconcerting when you become used to them but then I have to admit I am rather fond of hearing the carrier wave and knowing it will mean a deep experience.

hello rakem,

sounds like you had quite the experience, but as the others have said its only the tip of the iceberg.

Personally I don't think you have had a proper DMT experience until you have been thoroughly shaken to your core with paradigm shifting thoughts lingering in the aftermath.

For me as a ´beginner´ i´ve noticed that the dosage seems irrelevant. Ive tried different hits with 10mg loaded in my machine and upto about 70mg, and every time i go, i go a little further than the previous time. As if i am expanding the space i get to see before i get to breakthrough.

My thoughts about this are that i don´t get to go further than what im ready for.

Probably i am burning spice because of incorrect vaping technique, but this supports my idea that i don´t go further than what i´m ready for and me burning too much spice is just coincidence/synchronicity.

So congratulations on your journey, it seems you were ready for it.

Dmt is weird and mighty. You're alright though, teeth in place and stuff.

I'd suggest doing something grounding. Me, I'd lay down on my back, place on of my favorite stones upon my chest, feel the earths energy.

Or just "take a knee"

I once had a dream where all of my teeth fell out. I read on a couple weeks web sites about dream interpretation and symbology that this generally indicates that you are entering a period of great change in your life. At least in my case this turned out to be true.
Images of broken light,
Which dance before me like a million eyes,
They call me on and on...

I just use a normal glass pipe. The same type of pipe one would smoke meth with.

I dream about my teeth falling out occasionally too. Often in turbulent times in life. I wonder why the psyche relates teeth to life in some way. When i think about it, your teeth are something you are always sort of touching with your tongue. When not looking in the mirror, checking my teeth is one of the first things i could think of doing to check if i'm me (if ever that question should arise), if you know what i mean. Even before using your hands or anything. Or looking at yourself.

This is an interesting thought .. maybe.

However dreaming of losing my teeth also happened when i had to get an 'apex resection' as pre surgery anxiety Pleased

Welcome to the club Drool DMT is a tricky beast, and IME effects are not consistent with dosage. If you pick up the pipe, prepare for anihilation Twisted Evil This isn't a bad thing. This is the Medicine showing you who's boss, and what it is capable of, which as you may now realize, it is capable of sucking you up and spitting you out where ever the hell it sees fit. It helps instill respect and prevent abuse. You may also find after a deep journey such as this that many little details and insights will 'Un-Zip' themselves in the days and weeks following such an encounter- and it is an encounter. Take this time to reflect and learn from it. The shaken feeling will give way with time. Welcome back. We've all been there. Many of us many times. It's all part of the ride Cool

very interesting thoughts and this is one that resonates with me. My life has changed rather dramatically recently. Seperated with my wife of 9 years recently, only to find out she is pregnant with another man only 3 months after we split. Also starting a new job in the new year so things are quite turbulent and different for me lately.

You are right, the un-easy feeling I have had since this happened slightly less now and I find myself trying to process what happened and understand what it all means. I won't trip again until I have a full understanding of what happened, where I went, and what it all meant. This might be difficult but I feel like I need to try.

Oh no that's never nice. Been there sortof, although we were together much shorter and seperated a lot longer. But it's not a nice feeling. I personally made this period in my life hell for myself. Later realising that it if i would have done things differently it would have been much less dramatic. You really do create your own reality.

Pretty brave to go undergo psychedelic journeys into the unknown though. I tend to not do these things when feeling unbalanced. I had my ass kicked by ayahuasca once Shocked

After my journeys (although not yet as far as your latest) I like to walk through the forest. It's really earthing to walk through the trees and i get the feeling they are really happy i'm reconnecting to nature. It brings me to tears .. until i run into people .. at which time i will be totally cool again Pleased

I like this also, except i mountain bike rather than walk. I find it peaceful and very grounding.

When I dream of my teeth falling out, it is because I am grinding my teeth/clenching my jaw.

Sometimes i like to wear a sports mouthguard when i am having a strong psychedelic experience. It allows me to clench without all the stress on my teeth . It's definitely not attractive in social situations but hey, it works and i usually only need it temporarily.
