Although race/background/heritage doesn't really matter a whole lot, I'm interested in seeing what kind of diversity we have here at the Nexus. It's kind of neat seeing so many different kinds of people all exploring these realms.

If we talking prime genetic background/bloodline.. I'm an Irish/Arabic and an Isolationist to boot My daughter is Irish/Arabic/Cuban/Cherokee.. Now THAT is a melting pot baby (yet everyone thinks she looks "french" lol).

I wish I knew... My mom is caucasian and so were my grandparents obviously... My dad was somewhat of a mystery...His mom was caucasian and a prostitute who got pregnant from a sailor and fled the hospital right after giving birth to my dad, who ended up in an orphan's asylum until he was adopted at age 14... I look quite mediterranean, black curly hair, brown eyes and skin of coffee with lots of milk (less milky in summertime)... Funny how Portuguese people recognize me as a fellow Portuguese, Moroccons as a fellow Moroccon etc... When I still had my dreadlocks a lot of Africans used to ask who did my hair, and they could never believe it when I said it was done by Mother Nature, no human interference in the creation of my dreads... I also belong to the 10% of humanity to have "Morton's toe" aka Greek foot... As long as no DNA is analysed, anybody's guess is as good as mine when it comes to my heritage... My avatar was taken from google images and is actually a work of art by NEIL GIBSON, credit where credit is due! GMO....patenting DNA....what "brand" of people are..... In the near future, multinational coorporations made improvements upon the human genome. And patented these modifications. Like with corn gmo's, the genetically modified material gets loose on the populace and soon enough.... It becomes like this: You have whole Monsanto communities, starbucks communities, pepsi, disney. man, they straight up own your DNA son. "We don't take too kindly to our good nike daughters runnin' round with no pepsi boys". Man, brand loyalty + racsism. It's plausible too--there has been some worry that genetic modifications can jump from one species to the next. If humans became resistant to round-up, for example, would those humans now be property of monsanto? That kinda thing. I'll perform a seance tonight, get Phil k Dick to help me write it. 75% Serbian (other mixes but for general public is enough...lol...)
25% Macedonian and Romanian
born and raised in communist Yugoslavia (more postmodern that you may think)

I will play. I'm an american and well mixed up as far as I know. Mothers side is, French Canadian, Irish, polish. My fathers side is German and Cherokee Native American. I think Ancestry is interesting, and can feel the influence of it in my life. Doodazzle-  that's hilarious,

I am Welsh on my father"s side. On my mother"s side it gets a little murky. I am a little bit French on account of a clandestine relationship between Josephine Beauharnais ( wife of Napoleon 1) and Jaques Petri des Hautes Pyrenees (a pig rustler and smalltime career criminal from southern France). Jaques took the resultant bastard to Trinidad where he had acquired a sugarcane plantation from the ill gotten gains provided by the pig work. Just before the abolition of the slave trade in Trinidad, the bastard had his way with one of the young slave girls, thereby producing another bastard. This brings a bit of Afro Carribean into my blood history. Now all of this was happening on my mother"s mother"s side. All that my grandad (on my mother's side) has told me was that i am distantly related to Harald Hardrada, by way of one of his bastard (as in born out of wedlock to a mistress) sons escaping from the battle of Stamford Hill and settling in Lincolnshire to become a pig farmer. I am sure that there is a bit of Anglo Saxon in me, in addition to the French, Trinidad, Norse and Welsh connections.

As far as I know all of my great grandparents were Russian Jews, but I think there may be a drunken Irishman somewhere in my soul.  Images of broken light,
