Is this true? Or as I suspect a media ploy to subvert Bitcoins?

I love Bitcoins, for obvious reasons and would hate for them to be "killed".

seems the dangers were overblown.

Anyways even in the case bitcoin was not the final answer for cryptocurrency and had a big flaw, it definitely has already served it`s purpose by bringing awareness to the general crowd about the possibility of such currencies, and a new more secure cryptocurrency will for sure come out soon enough, if it hasnt yet.
