Do you guys ever come back from trips feeling frustrated?

I had a pretty intense trip yesterday, complete with archetypal journey's, massive euphoria, deep anxiety, and the feeling that my soul was dissolving into the universe, but now, having gotten a good night sleep, eaten some restorative food, I feel completely back, but also like yesterday was a total waste of a trip.

For some reason, everything is fuzzy and hard to remember: I can't quite put my finger on the feelings or specific events and I definitely feel like certain things are just kind of missing. It was so intense at the time, but now it just seems kind of washed out and grey, like a blanket that's been through the wash too many times.

Has anyone ever had this happen? Is this what most mushrooms trips are actually like?

Blessings

Heyo
I've experienced a similar thing, especially with mushrooms. I've learned that for me, the benefits from a heavy trip aren't always immediate- I usually feel a bit moody for days afterwards. I can frustrate myself by trying too hard to grasp a trip I've had. Trips aren't tangible things you can hold onto, and your mind is in a different state now then it was yesterday.

I would focus on what's in your mind right now, and not try too hard to hold onto your memories.

On another note, I've been meditating regularly and I haven't tripped in a while, and vivid images from past psilocybin and DMT trips keep popping into my head.Drool

It's never a waste of a trip in my book . As with bad
Ones sometimes the lesson is what not to do .

I've been having a series of failures lately but I know a good one
Is just around the corner .

Sometimes it just fails and not much seems to come out of it .
I always seem to learn something in the process though .

Sometimes disappointment in a trip is a sign of too much
Expectation going into it . There are so msny variables I've come to
Expect some fails along the way .
The only way of discovering the limits of the possible is to venture a little way past them into the impossible.

I can relate to the feeling, but I would not give it too much attention. The beneficial things sometimes become apparent only days/weeks later.

Don't expect too much from it and take it as it goes.
