Hey Everyone,

I just wanted to let people know this.

I have been looking for information about boa ayahuasca and the only info I can find is that kiwi sells it online.

But I have drank boa ayahuasca down in peru, but not on it's own it was mixed with yellow cappi. We actually found an 80yr. old boa ayahuasca vine in the woods which I will post the picture of, which was pretty cool in itself.

BUT I WOULD LIKE TO NOTE, THE SHAMAN I WAS WITH TOLD ME THAT IF YOU DRINK BOA AYAHUASCA ON IT'S OWN AND NOT WITH YELLOW CAAPI, IT CAN KILL YOU.

I do not know how true this fact is because to me that doesn't make anysense that if you drink it with yellow caapi it wont kill you but if by itself it will. unless there are alkaloids in the yellow caapi that prevent it from killing you I am not quite sure. But I thought that was worth mentioning.

nice picture but could you please provide more details about how and why?

like could you ask the guy what happens before they die, do they go stiff or have seizures or shallow breathing, anything would be of value.

thank you

context is necessary. "Death" in some cultures could mean something beyond actual physical death as well as physical death. Ayahuasca itself is sometimes referred to as "little death".

People have drunk boa ayahuasca and I think it was pretty weak according to the reports on aya forums.
Long live the unwoke.

the only logical explanation (in my mind) would be that if one doesn't mix it with caapi, one needs a significantly higher dose of boa vine (especially if it is weak, as jamie suggests), which might cause an overdose of a potentially harmful (maybe even lethal) chemical of some kind.

either that or it is either not literal, physical death; or its BS.

Ok well if people have drunk it by itself then it probably is BS like I said I didn't believe the guy when he told me, but this was before I realized that there are different species of ayahuasca vines with different alkaloids.

But he told me if I drank it alone I would be finito as in finished or dead I don't think he meant a spiritual death.

hello dmtsavedme,

whether this information is true or not thank you for bringing it up, its all ways better to be safe than sorry.

I have some Boa at home but I have not drunk it yet, I think I read on the Aya forums that it was used as more of an admixture plant. Can you give me any information on its effect on an Aya experience? Did you find it added anything to the experience?

Thanks
