Hey there fellas,

I am a 25 year old man living in France.

I need to share an experience that I had a few months ago, it has changed my life forever.

I was sitting inside a tipi somewhere in europe, it was during the night of the full moon, end of april 2013.I was furiously playing the drums with some pretty advanced drug-loving hippies. I was in a very deep state of rythmic trance while staring at the great fire burning in front of me, my hands would produce the sounds that I was about to hear, the fire would carve out shapes out of the burning wood and show me the faces of my beloved friends and family, everything was already surreal. At that same moment, the drop of LSD that I had taken was coming to its full potential and I took 5 or 6 full hits of the chillum that was turning in our circle. It hit the acid like some great wave, this is where the transcendental insanity started for me.

I could feel myself being taken away. As I closed my eyes to escape the visionnary fire, I left this world for another one, I was sucked into a multidimensional vortex. This was an experience beyond all experiences, my body was shivering and I couldn't believe this to be happening. I was divine and out of my self, I didn't know that reality could be more than what it already is.

When I opened my eyes and left that place, I knew that everything had changed forever, I had joined the other side of the mirror, "I" and everything else are now the same thing.

I have never taken DMT but I thought that this might be something similar to it.

Trance drumming in itself is a very very powerful experience in and of itself.
The combination of drumming and mind altering substances is a whole other level.

Some of my first deep traveling to other realms began with intense drumming sessions in
a remote place. This is where my journey actually began and was the spark that ignited my enduring fascination with altered states of consciousness.

A deep experience like what you experienced can be a difficult thing to come to terms with sometimes. In time, a new world view emerges, one that can embrace many possibilities.
If your struggling with it don't be too quick define it or believe any one thing. Embrace many concepts as your new view of reality unfolds.

I find it a very comforting secret to carry with me knowing that there is more going on
than we understand. That our minds our actually capable of incredible things beyond our
normal human perception of everyday reality and that its real and can be tangibly experienced.

The only way of discovering the limits of the possible is to venture a little way past them into the impossible.

This is fire magic. Fires are very rhythmic things, and if you sat in front of the fire and played for a long time the fire and you would have become in tune. Then it's just a portal, you draw from it what you will. Next time, build the fire too. Do everything, collect the wood, dig the pit, light the fucker and feed it. Then try playing to it.

I had a similar experience on LSD many years ago. I wasnt drumming or looking at fire but I was staring up at a beautifull fall sky full of aurora borealis in a dark country setting. Quite literally the flip side or a mirror type universe exposed itself to me when I felt a heavy woosh and suddenly the universe itself was upside down in my view. Infact in the millisecond that it took to watch it actually felt like my body was tipped upside down and set back upright again. lol. Then I knew that there were other realities out there somewhere and perhaps right here where we "live" everyday. It was a very uplifting and gratifying experience to say the least. Something like we are all connected and part of something bigger than ourselves. I wish I could explain it better somehow...

Some trips are just so much more than wavy visions and an altered senses. Pleased That was and still is somehow a point in my life that I will never forget. DMT on the otherhand was sooo much more somehow, not to belittle LSD in anyway. Just that I also was exposed to something completely new that I never knew existed and I thought I had experienced about all that I could in a psychadelic sense. The visions are so profound somehow that there are really giant morphing mandalas waiting for you to enter into the color bending tunnels of possibly another universe different from the one we are in. Other beings or spirits with voices that actually communicate with you...Just unreal but in a totally real sense, because they are there.

I've had similar experiences with lsd of traveling through a vortex out of the top of my head, and just dissolve into the group mind or float in between lush alien planets in outer space. I high dose alone could do it, but even a medium sized dose could when I would smoke a lot of marijuana at the peak. I can imagine the energy of the group drum circle would greatly enhance things as well

For me these lsd "breakthroughs" are somewhat similar to dmt but with some big differences that are hard for me to describe. The interesting thing, which countless people report, is that after getting there on dmt it seems to manifest much more readily the next time you take lsd

<Ringworm>hehehe, it's all fun and games till someone loses an "I"

Sounds amazing, far beyond bedroom tripping, touching wooden furniture to feel at one nature
Everything I say is actually false and I'm not real.
