haha SWIM didnt say he washed his dishes with saliva..he said his 'lab equipment' big difference..he figures with all the bases and solvents..that a little spit wont hurt his extractions..

and his source of income is fishing..he fishes in the summer/fall/winter...its really hard work..but it pays well..well..well enough..

and no..he never regrets moving to his place...living in the city was getting to him...he was just about as low as he could get living there...and he ate some mushrooms with a friend one day..and nothing happened..so he kept eating them..and eating them..and by the time he stopped eating them he had eaten just over 10g...and was still not feeling effects..besides the stomach pains...well...about four hours after he ate them..he started tripping..and he started tripping really hard...it was about 11 o'clock..and he asked his friend(the persons house he was at) if he could just stay on the couch for awhile because he was tripping his balls off...well his friend told him he had to leave...well he comes to find out that his friend was actually expecting some girls over..but SWIM didnt know that...so he asked if he could piss first before he left..and he asked his friend if he knew where SWIM had parked his car...yes he had to drive on 10g...so..SWIM managed to get to his car..and he had to focus really hard..

and drive through a city back to his apartment...lets just say..it wasnt easy..and he NEVER recommends that anybody think about driving while tripping..

well as soon as he got home..he hit his chair..and passed out..it was his first time passing out on any psychedelic..and it felt amazing..but when he woke up the next day..he realized that he couldnt stay in the city and do what he felt he was supposed to do..and that was study psychedelics...its his passion...and he figured that if he stayed in the city..he would end up in jail..or worse...so he got the fuck out of there...

and the money to buy the land...came from months and months of back breaking work..going out on a boat when its 20 degrees F and working in the wind and spray that come off the boat...him and his brother happened to get into the fishing industry RIGHT when it was doing its best..and they made a lot of money so they could buy their property from the bank..because we all know the banks own everything that you have a loan for..

and of course..this island doesnt even exist..its just my wet dream that i talk about on these make believe boards..

Just so no one worries unnecessarily about Antrocles, I happen to know that he's now been joined on vacation by his superhot girlfriend. Could be he's got his hands full the last couple of days. I'm guessing he's just fine.

Inspiring Jorkest. It makes me want to go running after my dream. I'd love to walk accross the United States. Go from Nor Cal to Washington and then back south to texas. From texas walk to Florida, and then from florida to New York. And then from there I'm outa ideas at this point, I gotta do more research, but that would be the rough plan. But doing something like this would take a LONG time. Years really. I don't know if I could stand to be away from my family for that long, or if my college degree I'm working on would be worth anything after that period of time.

Yeah, safe journeys is right... where's day four?

He's fine, everyone. I spoke with him. He's been biking a ways into the nearest town and writing his posts from a cybercafe. Excessive tripping and mauling his girlfriend have distracted him the last few days from his journalistic duties. He's on a plane today and assures me we'll all be hearing the balance of his wacky adventures shortly.

Antrocles is doing the things I dream of. You have inspired me to make the most of this summer by staying in the woods, mescaline psilocin dmt, and ozs of ganja, spirit journey time!

How much do these islands cost ey? I would work my fingers to the bone for a nice secluded idyllic island...

Thats amazing Jorkest! It sounds like you are living the way you want to for now.

You may find that things change pretty quickly though. That girlfriend may want children, and you may discover that you do to, so thats when things start to force you to work within the system....at least thats what happened to me.

In life I work long hard weeks often. I'm married, have a mortgage, etc, etc, but my kids are grown and gone, and I now have a nice out. I have a nice boat ( just 24 ft long with a cabin, kitchen etc,) that I live on often for several weeks at a time in the summertime on a sandy bay at Cape Cod with beaches and sand dunes, usually just me and my little dog. Often sleep in the daytime and stay up late nights enjoying various things in my box of magic and grooving on the night skies and the sounds and smells and other experiences of the ocean.
Its a great life opportunity that I enjoy now that I'm older ( 56 years old), can reap some of the benefits of working hard all my life, and now must do before I become too decrepid to be able to enjoy this sort of a retreat anymore...lol.

wow dude that sounds pretty sweet too!! and i agree that his girlfriend may want children one day..and so may he..and i think thats why he decided to TRY and get this stuff sorta out of his system before reality buckles and starts to force itself upon him..which he feels happening somethings..even though he thinks its himself that is making that part of reality happen...

SWIM is slowly figuring out many other ways of reaching the same sort of place without the use of powerful psychedelics...by using shamanic drumming techniques..to dreaming..even though at the moment he has been enjoying taking a few herbs to enhance his dream life...which has been absolutely extraordinary the past few nights...Cecropia obtusifolia...Silene capensis..mugwort..calea...Jurema Branca, Goathead Stickers & Kava Kava..these are all found in Al Qemi 'spagyrics' and 'intiantics' ...they are actually extremely pleasant tasting..so much so that SWIM sometimes cant wait to taste them before going to bed...

and his dreams after taking this...have just been nuts! but in a very chilled out relaxed way...absolutely wonderful stuff
