i decided to take a few pictures of the plants i keep and care. not much, but they are getting new buddies vey quickly. and they seem happy.

from top to bottom :

first pic is from a HBWR plant i started this year, and has rewarded me with a steady and healthy growth.

the cacti in the second photo are unknown to me. i saved this cacti from his previous home where it was literally forgotten. i made a clone from the healthy top, thinking it wont survive. but he is tougher than i thought.

the next cacti in the photo are also unknown to me. they were presented to me as peruvian torch, but from all the information i read here my judge is that is some variety of san pedro. at least two of them

fourth photo is not ethnobotanical but i like this plant alot, for its great look and its history of use. its Phytolaca Americana. Natives in America used to make dyes from the berries.

fifth photo is from the brachy plants i planted this year to test their durability in the climate zone i am in. the flowers look small compared to the ones i picked their seeds from in turkey. but still i am satisfied... i planted 5-6 in one medium pot (bad idea), 4 of them germinated and all 4 for them got to the flowering stage and put out seeds.

last photo is from the salvia mommy i keep for almost year and a half. i kept her outdoors for all of this months, and the weather was great, especially the moisture of the early spring, but then she got attacked by some invisible pest.young leaves were eaten and she lost that bushy consistency so i had to bring her inside again.

thanks for the interest acacian.

i havent tested the brachy yet. i didnt want to sacrifice the small ammount of seeds i had. thats why this year i was only testing if they would grow to their maturity and put out some seeds so i can multiply them.

i know jamie had some problems with getting them grown to full maturity, but here where i am they feel quite comfortable, without any care from my side. (i only threw the seeds in a pot).

so now, i have a new generation of seeds. i will definitely get the project going towards a more serious direction from next year.

i will definitely post any conclusive results here on the forum.
