I've read quite a few trip reports and although I've only really done DMT around 5 times now, it seems no one has noticed just how robotic and mechanical DMT can be. I hear of people on here speak a lot specifically about breakthrough experiences or very mild experiences, but I really find the bit inbetween those stages to be the most rewarding to me.

Among my friends we call it "Robot Land", the state where you're experience mad open eyed visuals but you are still within this universe, everything is spiraling and the depth of objects is crisp and clear, like a hypervision, movement is completely mechanical. I'd compare it to a strong LSD experience albeit a few differences in the sensations and visuals you experience. I also find at this stage music is still fully audible and if concentrated on there are some strange stretching and warping effects within the sound.

Does anyone understand what I mean by this? Would "Robot land" be a good name for it?

I don't prefer to look around after take dmt but I can see very digital like visuals everywhere I look before I close my eyes.At start I see red dots everywhere but they are not rondom, seem very ordered, then red dots make a big spiral at the center, like tunnel. They reminds me scales of reptiles somehow.I usually close my eyes after that voluntariy or involintary and real action begins.

Everyone's interpretation is going to be different I suppose, its just the nature of humans. SWIM tends to see everything covered in millions of intricate geometrical moving-spinning-turning pieces at middle of the road doses (after the initial lift off subsides) with open eyes. Some times followed by the presence of an entity (in the field of vision or not). SWIM has only journeyed a hand full of times though, but swim hopes to encounter a friendly robot land someday. SWIM has gotten pretty different results each time, including one where SWIM (CEV) was stuck in an all black multicolor-block-conveyor belt space that formed into a clown and bobbed with SWIM. It was weird.

I've never been a huge fan of CEVs, simply because I have a big enough imagination to create my own visions in my head anyway. I like drugs that produce strong OEVs so I've never done DMT with my eyes closed.

There are a lot of mechanical elements to my experiences. Something that has been talked about a bunch around here that I have experienced on multiple occasions is beholding the cogs and gears of hyperspace. It looks like clockwork - all of them moving each other.

I've also talked a lot about the electronic sounds they make, the sequences they run (both visual and audio). The audio sequences sound like a MIDI sequencer running high pitched 8-16 bit pure tones.

When they run their visual sequences, it's very characteristic of a computer program enacting an algorithm of some kind. I don't know why they like to run them. Sometimes though, even when there's fluid motion, constant "plot change" and no real sign of sequences in sight, if I were to open my eyes and something were to knock the experience "off track" as if everything was hinging on me before, and now that perhaps a sudden noise or movement can knock the thing off track, that the experience can reveal itself to be running on a sort of metronome track where everything is happening very choppily, but I believe it to be a matter of perspective that makes it appear intentionally fluid. A lot of these rather intense experiences seem "designed" to be beheld from a particular angle at a particularly stable viewpoint, and if you manage to take a peak behind the scenes, you'd see that it can be quite mechanical. I had a lesson in interdimensional geometry where they showed me that there is a visible "foreground" and a hidden latent background that helps to facilitate the illusions of folding/unfolding and moving through each other by moving some of an object into the foreground while other parts recede into the hidden background.

To me hyperspace seems to be the perfect marriage of the organic and the mechanical.
