I was on 150mg of methoxetamine last night. I usually smoke spice on this as it makes me fearless and also is very euphoric. I decided I wanted to smoke some 5-meo-dmt rather than regular dmt like I usually do. I sprinkled some unmeasured dosage into the GVG. about 10 milligrams. took maybe 2 hits and repeated (sprinkled a little more and took another hit or two).

I found it very much like regular dmt. except maybe even more impressive.
I didn't try to breakthrough but..
Is this a unique perspective? I always hear people saying 5-meo is much more intense and has no visuals. and causes feelings like the void.

there were definitely visuals for me. It seemed to last longer than regular dmt and have an even nicer/deeper/more healing resonance and faster frequency.

I don't have much experience with 5-meo-dmt but it seemed less scary and a lot more pleasurable, like dmt, than it's made out to be.

I feel healed and renewed like I peeled off calloused layers.

Sister has never experienced 5-MeO-dmt short of a breakthrough and she can tell you they are nothing at all like dmt breakthroughs, there is next to no visual component, a very expansive headspace, and an intense pleasurable body rush. If you do manage to open your eyes resisting a breakthrough then things will appear to melt which is a very different distortion than one sees with OE dmt visuals. Breakthrough 5meo trips also tend to be very profound.

With dmt breakthroughs things are extremely visual both OE and CE, the headspace is confused, and if there is a body component it pales before the visuals and headspace.

Many approach 5-MeO with such respect because the doses are much smaller than with dmt so its easy to overdue it. With dmt its hard to get enough smoke into you to overdo it. Sister has a friend who did a 20mg vape of 5-MeO and then woke up covered in his own blood. When he went out he had seizures and smashed a bunch of glass and then rolled around in it. Another friend freaked out and threw all her stash in the fireplace, everything.

I'll tell you about my first experience on 5-MeO-DMT. It was a gift, I didn`t expect anything, even tho I'd read a lot of trip reports to that time. We put some blankets and pillows in the floor, and so i sat down. A girl dropped what seemed to me like fish scales into a light bulb, told me to hold the smoke as much as i could. She pulled out a little torch lighter and strt burning it, then she said "now, inhale slowly" and began to countdown from 10 to 1... When the countdown came to 3 i asked "can i lay down?", "do as you feel" she said. As I laid down, with closed eyes, my eye lids became full of pulsing fractals... suddenly, out of nowhere, I was being shot through a wormhole. There were what seemed to be some kind of plasma screens hanging in the walls of it. There, could see memories of my childhood, feelings, people who I used to know, past life episodes... I remember I was afraid to touch them because I felt like they were to break apart. All of a sudden, the wormhole spat me in the vecinity of star very similar to the Sun, there were no planets around it. I looked all around and out of nowhere i was traveling through the wormhole again.

The next star i visited was a little different, it was purple with 4 or more planets spinning around it... wormhole again. So I visited about 3 or more planetary systems. Until it spat me into nothingness, I couldn't see nything but darkness, but as the time passed by I began seeing little light spots that were traveling light speed in my direction. They were galaxies, I was contemplating all of them; windmills, ellipses, etc, when... ¡Wormhole! Instead of being spat through stars I started being winnowed near galaxies. The last time I went out of the wormhole I saw myself standing on top of a windmill type galaxy with my arm stretched to the side holding something I didn`t know what was it. When I looked to the side, there was my girl holding my hand smiling.

That was my very first trip in the god's molecule.

My initial experiences with 5meo were very aptly described here by sister. the void, lack of cev, melting oev(like right down the middle of everything),-and death.
I have killed my ego many times over, but entering death was what happened with that substance and me. The most profound, valuable experience in my life.

And yeah the place you describe I call the temple of mind, and that room is the altar of memory. Mine has strange curved pillars covered with faceted mirrors displaying different aspect of life.

I'm working with an acacias extract currently that has a substantial n,n content and while I love the stuff, and it has provided some deep insight into life, the universe, and everything, it pales (for me) in comparison to the "enlightening" experiences I've had on 5-meo.

I am sure this question has been answered before and I have searched for the answer a bit, but I am wondering if 5meo-dmt is really as entheogenic as it has been purported. I recently read Tryptamine Palace and I want to know if 5meo is actually more profound. In Tryptamine Palace James Oroc talks about 5meo as if it is the most direct route to "the white light" for those that have used both would you say 5meo is what its made out to be by James Oroc?

this thread has got me thinking that a small ratio of 5-meo mixed into a batch of changa might be worth experimenting with.

There are a variety of plant sources where you can experience the mixed effects of DMT and 5-MeO. The big problem is for those who want to experience the isolated effects of 5-MeO.

I never talked about my experience on here since it happened; but I was smoking a 5-MeO/N,N changa during a rather deep pharma experience. Long story short I had a massive freakout; I ended up walking out to the sewer and throwing out all my DMT (~3g) all my MHRB (250g), as well as my VaporGenie down the sewer. Ironically, the one thing I didn't throw away was my 5-MeO-DMT (I believe I meant to but it wasn't with the rest of my stuff)

Of course, this happened right around the exact same time they cracked down on Mimosa bark in the USA. So by the time I was "recovered" from the trip and started thinking about doing another extraction I noticed it was impossible to find MHRB domestically anymore. I picked the absolute worst time to get rid of my stash as 3g of DMT is likely a lifetimes worth for me.

Anyway, I'm in the process of an ACRB extraction now so if nothing else it will be interesting to compare the two.

The first time I smoked 5-MeO-DMT:

The come-on was fast, very much like DMT,
but it was up, up up, then an explosion/implosion of light,
like the sun exploding,
and then I knew, finally what the "Clear Light" was,
What Oceanic Conciousness was,
I was part of everything in the universe,
aware of the infinite dance of energy, which is immediately recognizable as 'the Void'
that love and hate,
right and wrong,
death and birth,
were all part of the perfect plan.
It was quite Euphoric.
I personally feel that 5-MeO-DMT
is considerably stronger than DMT on many levels.
Kind of like comparing a comic book to a great novel?
I'd love to be able to extract that half of the so called Mayan Twins.

No one here seems to be addressing the fact that he was high on Methoxetamine at the time of the experience.
I am not personally familiar with the effects of that particular drug, but a quick web search reveals that it is in the same family of dissociatives as PCP and Ketamine.

I imagine that coupling that with 5-MeO-DMT might pretty radically alter the experience of a traveler.

Thanks for the response. 5meo is definitely at the top of my to do list. I tried to find some toads in the sonoran desert, but I think it is too late in the season, I will be going back next spring/summer for the beginning of monsoon season and trying my luck then.
