I don't know if this is the right place to post it, but this is one of the most moving TED talks I have yet seen. Very very interesting and straight from the heart. The message it conveys goes hand in hand to that of the Nexus:

Yeah, that gets posted here every couple of months.

It was that TED talk that made me want to get into neurotheology as a field of study.

Slightly more recently, this doctor when on Oprah and did a more in-depth analysis of her experience. It's also a little less flaky.

It's very strange to here Oprah grappling with topics that we deal with every day here on the Nexus (eg. ego death, meditation, quieting the brain etc). What struck me listening to this was how psychedelic her experience seems to have been.
