DMT doesn't seem to affect me long term, once the experience is over I think of it like a movie, was fun was some amazing visuals but Im not going to change my life at all because of it.

^ you haven't had anything that has given you a different outlook on anything? Just my opinion but sounds to me like you haven't gone very deep or maybe haven't had much experience with it. Just an observation.

My first change in my feelings about death after DMT use was a lessened fear of it. Lately I feel much like when I child fears attaining the responsibility of becoming an adult, rather than living carelessly with innocence.

My outlook on what it is has also changed. I sense that the afterlife is a much more complicated environment than this one. Before I envisioned it in the same way I would envision this world. The feeling of eternal loneliness is also new to me. If we are you me and I, then I can only imagine how depressing it is to feel rebirth lust.

I use to be an athiest, but after reading about different world religions I started think a lot about karma and reincarnation, and how this life is really nothing but a test for what lies ahead.

After smoking DMT, this belief was strengthened in me. The first time I ever smoked it I took way to large of a dose, probably around 60-70mg, I did not weigh it. This caused complete ego death and the world around me to melt away into a completely different realm, where all I could see was orbs of energy pulsing around me and floating around. I could feel that these were not just orbs of light, but rather peoples consciousness's that were residing in this place.

It showed me that our life does not end with death. Our bodies may stop breathing and living, but our souls/consciousness/whatever you want to call it, lives on. Sometimes it lives on in another body, or another form of life on this planet where the living can still interact with us, and other times it breaks free from the cycle of reincarnation, but only when you have done nothing but good in your life and have done nothing but give and love, and care for those around you. By doing this, even if your given a completely dirty rotten life experience, then you can ascend above the others and break free of the cycle.

I believe those orbs that I witnessed were just that, peoples consciousness that have broken the cycle and travel the planet watching out for those they love. I feel like on of them was even my aunt, who had passed away in the very same spot that I had blasted off. I hope that all makes sense.
Everything published by Gone-and-Back are the mad rantings and ravings of a mind who yearns to be free and thinks he knows what he is talking about. However, these are just delusions made to feel that freedom, because that freedom will never come. Any experiments done are purely figments of the imagination, and are falsified to the highest degree. Nothing should be taken seriously from a crazy mans mind.

I am atheist but feel 'religion' is important for the masses at this point in our evolution, gives some a reason to live and most something to fear.

I believe in Karma, but not in a mystical sense, I believe Karma is actually what your expecting in life, i.e. if you constantly screw people over youll be quite anxious of getting screwed over, but if your expecting good karma youll be more open to accept it and it will seem more profound or personal.

DMT has yet to "change" me, I have taken many psychedelics in my life that have changed me somewhat.
I have only smoked it but I have been quite deep, recently I was reborn after smoking a large dose, it was amazing and until I came down it felt very profound but quickly faded to a cool memory.

I don't really see DMT as something that changes you (except for the mega doses) but as a tool that allows for change. It has given me more windows to peer out into the vastness of what is, so that I am more prepared to contemplate things I never imagined before.

This is essentially how I feel. I get my notions of karma from Alan Watts who goes by the translation of "karma" into "action" meaning not that your karma is the divine retribution of your actions, but that your actions shape your world. Hang out with sharks and you shouldn't be surprised that you get bitten. Be a good listener and people will talk to you. That sort of thing.
