I came across this on youtube and thought it was pretty neat. Makes you wonder about weather plants have a real consciousness or not. This is Mimosa Pudica, but all mimosa plants do this at night, maybe DMT has something to do with it? probably not but who knows Laughing

Live plants. Sustainable, ethically sourced, native American owned.

It's pretty neat indeed. And prolly easy to get at your local greenery.

In Dutch we call it "kruidje roer me niet" which roughly translates to "Little herb, don't stir me".

Kind regards,

i am almost positive it is just pudica, strigillosa and nuttallii that do this.
pudica doesn't have DMT (iirc), so i doubt it has anything to do with it.

it is odd to me how we consider something more likely to be conscious if it physically moves.
as far as i am concerned conscious beings can be entirely stationary

Its not that it physically moves, but responds so easily. Why do we think people are dead if they don't move?

Wow, that brings back memories. My father bought one of those for me when I was a really tiny kid. Of course, I was too young to properly care for it, so it died, but I vividly remembering NEVER letting anything prompt the closing-action of the leaves, because I was desperately afraid that I would tire the plant out and it would 'break.'

I was a weird kid.

Anyway, thanks for the video brought back interesting memories Smile

Peace
