Hi Guys,

I wonder if you have experienced the same and can give some advice.

A friend of mine has on two occasions fainted about 20 minutes after smoking DMT. All his buddies smoked the same batch and had none of those symptoms. The 2nd time he suffered convulsions as well.

Has anybody else had this? Now please understand I am not seeking medical advice. I have already suggested that his first move should be going to the doctor to get checked out. All I am trying to do is get info and see how common this actually is and maybe what the causes might be.

Thanks!

I searched the DMT nexus and the web and could only find one thing:

I wish you luck in the safety of your friend. I would always assume fainting and having seizure like symptoms is NOT safe and the friend should refrain from any further use until it is fixed by a professional doctor.

I think the 20 minute delay to unconsciousness for vaporized DMT is worrisome. The convulsions are VERY worrisome.

Suggesting that he go to a Doctor is probably a really good idea, to make sure he doesn't have an early stage tumor or something like that.

not common at all. Epilepsy perhaps?
He needs to go to a doctor and find out what's up ASAP in my opinion.

Exactly my thoughts. Epilepsy & Psychedelics seem to be a really bad conbination.
These convulsions and the fainting are both very reminiscent of Epilepsy.

You don't need a doctor to figure out: These people should simply avoid psychedelics.
You could get a doctor's advice, but many physicians are heavily biased and just as misinformed about the risks of various drugs as the general public.
To be honoust I wouldn't value the opinion of 9 out of 10 doctors.

If I were them I'd live by the words "better safe than sorry" and never take Psychedelic tryptamines again.

Okay. So the full story is. The dude had mus (quantity unknown) then smoked freebase and then changa as well. That is a recipe for some weird shit to happen, in my opinion...
