What's up guys! This is my first post here in quite awhile, I was just randomly thinking about interesting places to trip that you wouldn't normally think of and I'm curious about interesting settings you guys have tripped in. This isn't really a DMT post so much as a general psychedelics post. Here's an example from my personal experience:
Me and a few friends were walking around New York, which is a pretty interesting setting in itself, tripping on some very good acid and we wandered into an art gallery that was having a surrealist pop art exhibition, and it was easily my favorite part of any trip I've ever had. Whenever I looked at a piece I would think very deeply into my interpretation of it, how they pertained to my life and what events and memories in my life they identifies with most, and when the pieces had characters I would think up entire backstories for them, things like personal goals, important relationships, sexual orientations, futures, etc. The experience totally changed the way I look at art because I still go really deep with my interpretations, the only difference is the paintings aren't coming alive and melting off the walls and whatnot.
Anyway that's just a summary of that experience, I plan to spend an entire day in an art museum on acid sometime in the near future because it's so interesting. What are some unique settings you guys have tripped in?

i usually take it at the beach. how do you walk around in public on acid and not be worried about it? can't people tell you're high on something? does that worry you?

it would be cool to take it on a plane but i never have. how cool would it be to take it on a space walk? i have however, taken it and eaten ass. it was pretty good.

Amsterdam: ate some pan. cyans and climbed up a scaffold set up front of Cental Station (pretty sure they were doing touch-ups on the decorations at the top). It was very easy to climb--never felt like I would fall or anything. I got to the top, put set 2 of Grateful Dead 03/01/69 on my discman, smoked a spliff, and watched the sun set. Overwhelmingly beautiful. Went back down to the ground and spent the rest of the night trying to understand Dutch. Very fun place as long as you respect it. (I asked for permission before climbing, btw)

This isnt too drastic But I was always wondering if you happen to have all senses blocked out (like a isolation take on steroids)...So quite you can here the blood in your vessels move..the kind of silence that could drive someone crazy. I want to know how a psychedelic induced trip is like under those conditions.

most unique place ive tripped was in the zoo .I was on an 8th of the best boomers ive ever had, but i wasnt in the zoo voluntarily. I was at peacefest in lincoln park Chicago next to a zoo and a friend i was with got lost / got overwhelmed and ran off. Long story short i was walking around through the zoo and bye the lake front trying to find this kid because he was my ride and i was broke Thumbs down

Life lesson is trip with people who can handle it and you enjoy being around Big grin

Although it was stessfull the zoo wasnt that bad even though there was what seemed like a million people starring at me looking around franticly . I eventually found the lost friend and caught the better part of the music

People could definitely tell if they took a few seconds to observe me and my friends, especially the way we were parading through the streets pretty much treating the city like a playground, but the interesting thing is that everyone is so focused on themselves, especially in a place like New York, that they don't even notice the people blatantly tripping their nuts off. It was actually really comical. And the people who do notice usually just mind their own business, sometimes scowl at the antics. So in short, tripping in public sounds really freaky with all those people around and whatnot, but once you're there it's actually no big deal.

Art Museums - wonderful. I spent an hour once sitting in front of (or was that inside of Big grin ) a couple of Marc Rothko's paintings.
Floating down a slow river in an inner tube on a sunny day Smile
The Ocean - bodysurfing, at one with the waves as they throw your body at the shore Thumbs up
Amusement Parks - tripping on Roller Coasters!!! Shocked Shocked Shocked Thumbs up Thumbs up Thumbs up
Skiing (light dosages only) - transcendental bliss in motion Thumbs up Thumbs up Thumbs up Thumbs up
Almost anyplace in the mountains, forests or desert. Extra nice at sunset on a Full Moon night.
Images of broken light,
Which dance before me like a million eyes,
They call me on and on...

At College during Halloween. 2 Hit of of good LSD.

Talking to all the people in costumes was definitely an experience. Talking to girls in revealing outfits was funny too.

Some Juggaloos ended up at my neighbors party with hatchets, making trouble. This was disconcerting and I ended up asking my very large friend in a soldier costume to keep things under control. His machine gun wasn't real though so we called the police.

Still, nothing like seeing all those costumes.
In the province of the mind what one believes to be true, either is true or becomes true within certain limits. These limits are to be found experimentally and experientially. When so found these limits turn out to be further beliefs to be transcended. In the province of the mind there are no limits. However, in the province of the body there are definite limits not to be transcended.-J.C. Lilly

Is there anyone in this forum who has done DMT in public places? I'm particularly intrigued by the possibility of taking a small dose of ayahuasca or pharmahuasca in a museum. They often have a place where you can sit, and no one would really be intrigued by you drinking something and then looking a little out of it. Once the possibility of feeling sick has passed and probably the top-off of the trip one could easily walk around and be blown away by the art.

ive found it to be a VERY big deal. Even the majority of the experiences ive had at concerts were pretty unnerving, save for a few shinning exceptions. To be honest i dont really like to be around people who arent tripping when i am. I always feel like there is no earthly way i can communicate to them properly, and then they ussually say something like "dude, im not freaking you out am i?" and its all over after that lol

I'd love to go to a museum on lsd... That sounds fantastic. I'm really not a fan of taking it in public anymore but i'd probably make an exception... Although lsd at alex grey's COSM equinox gathering was one of the most wild and fascinating experiences i've ever had. I remember sitting there watching him paint and fractal dimensions filled with crystalline vortexes of energy and eternal humans and beings were leaking through the art. They seamlessly mixed in with his painting that i couldn't tell what i was hallucinating and what he was actually drawing. I was dumbfounded. Then after that it was like living in his mind or something, because i started seeing his style of art in the trees, behind my eyes, everywhere. Then of course there was the crazy cosm video game being played on a huge projector where you're a skeleton with gun riding a hoverboard and fighting dinosaurs ....LOL ^____^

I once smoked dmt out on an island in the middle of a snow covered frozen lake in the sun. That was pretty cool but i'd take a warm meadow any day. One of my favorite settings was on a small lake in canada on this island that had a hot tub just on the shoreline. It was at night and out in front of me i could see the several huge rocky islands, and above me i could see the milky way clearer than ever before. Also low doses of changa while out in the kayak during sunset was spectacular, especially when the wind dies down and the water reflects like glass.

<Ringworm>hehehe, it's all fun and games till someone loses an "I"
