I realize that most members of this forum, or really anyone who is interested in psychedelics, at some point has come across the notion of fractals and is at least somewhat familiar with them. Nevertheless, I had a friend ask me why I was so obsessed with them and because I'm always one to over do it, I wrote an essay for him that goes into their origins, current research, and my own personal speculations on the matter. Consider it a primer on fractals.

I definitely draw inspiration from these shapes in my artwork so Jason's work is certainly inspiring. Thank you for sharing.
