simple enough!
basically I didn't like shpongle for years,I tried to listen to them on various psyces and never understood the hype.
then I listened to it on dmt.. Now I understand.
I broke through for the first time while listening to them ,I actually attribute it to the song, up until that point I didn't breakthrough, I blacked out then awoke confused.
what do you guys listen to? im shure this is a dumb question but does anyone know of a band that uses the same type sounds as shpongle but in a Dubstep format?

I had a great time once while listening to some Aphex Twin that had been massively slowed down lol. When I have listened to it since it brought me to tears of total joy

I've only been through twice. Both to Lateralus, by Tool. You are the architect of your own Destruction.

I use Imovie to create trip lists to use for aya and dmt. With Imovie you can create long or short periods of silence then go into Icaro's or music periodically for the private ceremony. Its similar to actual traditional ceremonies in which there is silence for a while then icaros to induc different visions and states. This song Deva Prayer I love to have play as I return to body. i set it for about 5 min of silence then the music begins softly gradually increasing volume. Its quite beautiful welcome home. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kXc5QpAtElwI am not gonna lie, shits gonna get weird!Troubles Breaking Through? Click here. I used to listen to the apex twins back in my raving days, you would need a major slowdown for most of their songs.
never heard of Icaro's thats fascinating, I have actually heard quite a few of these lately, what I had always imagined to be some shaman song or made to sound as such.
never been much of a tool fan, Ill give it a try though, any song suggestion?
I am trying to fuse my version of dubstep which is minimal but lots of drops and such as I tend to enjoy, only problem is recreating some of the sounds that bands like shpongle seem to be able to extract from the dmt experience, and all I have is software to do it.

Gonna try this next time I do DMT. I'm also interested in finding a recording of a shaman or monks chanting. When I let go of what I am, I become what I might be. When I let go of what I have, I receive what I need. – Tao Te Ching

momma dubbed part 1&2 by puscifer is great. but i can't find it on the web, so here is this instead (a bit wordy, but still awesome, especially when he goes "changes cooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooome" ). karunesh is good too (musafir is decent as well). select primus and tool songs as well. also ott and ozric tentacles. My wind instrument is the bong CHANGA IN THE BONGA! 樹

this is crazy, I think I just broke through and when I usually listened to http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AE8n4U_tmuY (Eternal Om), then this time I listened to Divine Moments of Truth and WTF, the trip was totally different. I suddenly noticed that my own hands look wet and orange as if they weren't even mine, I looked myself in the mirror and just couldn't handle what I saw. Everything else (the room and stuff) was very realistic though, I even didn't see patterns and fractals but only my own body looked really alien. So, it was the first time I was listening to shpongle and the experience was so very different. I'm still not sure if this was a break through but it sure was different than what I've experienced before. edit: Ok it wasn't breakthrough but still it was different than before.

If you like electronic/trance music, I STRONGLY suggest "allein allein" by Pryda. This song, for me, synergizes extremely well with the experience, and my most intense/deep breakthroughs were to this song.

I've posted this before but a few of My Favorite Songs are: Shulamn - I Dive (Feat. Lee Triffon) And Shulman - Retroscape. A Good Song Relating to Aya Is a exclusive Band that not a lot of people know about. Kuba - We'll Learn. Kuba all round is great for psychedelics. Shulman takes up most of my Playlist. I have a very specific flavor of Psybient music most of all It can't sound like techno. In My Opinion Techno is for Extasy and stuff like that. The #1 come down song for me is Makyo - A Piece Of Forgotten Song (Haad Rin Sunrise Mix) from the album Rasa Bhava to be specific because its not on YouTube sadly to say. I got it from a friend so I'm not sure where he got it probably a Torrent. Enjoy "Cosmic Creativity: Art Is An Echo Of The Creative Force That Birthed The Galaxies. Creativity Is The Way That The Cosmos Evolves And Communicates With Itself. The Great Up Lifting Of Humanity Beyond Its Self-Destruction Is The Redemptive Mission Of Art."

I went to an all day concert a few days ago and one of the artists was a similar to dubstep producer called The Gaslamp Killer, his music was the kind of thing you can rage out to but it was also pretty trippy. It wasn't Shpongle levels of trippy but it was still pretty insane. Check him out.

Play lists are fine but you want to have periods of silence and control the graduation of volume gradually Imovie is the only way to do that. Playlist will simply be continuous songs without silent periods. Basically your just using the audio portion but editing a video. Imovie is super fun and easy to use it comes free on macs but you can probably download it on line id be guessing. I am not gonna lie, shits gonna get weird!Troubles Breaking Through? Click here. Don't expect this to be popular but all I can say is "tried and tested" This tune (on a loop) with the volume turned down but the subwoofer turned up (so you can feel the beat nicely but barely hear the tune itself), while sat in the back garden with my back to the sun meditating and staring into the sky... The result was magnificent.

I have found Dianne Arkenstone to to work well for me. She isn't a name I hear others talk about much but I like her style for solo meditation/shamanic work. http://www.youtube.com/w...;list=PL3C34347A7EC700F2If your religion, faith, devotion, or self proclaimed spirituality is not directly leading to an increase in kindness, empathy, compassion and tolerance for others then you have been misled.
