As mentioned above, it works different with everybody.
I have read several Experience reports, articles, health and safety, and I have practiced in one way. Now everybody has different events, thoughts, and perceptions in the mind inwhich is unpredictable.
Knowing "the right time" for DMT is hard to understand and even if somebody were to put the dots together and find it as the time for the(if there is one, not for everybody) it still would have several variables to look for safety and mindset. We all can get the jitters or feel nervous even some of us that have been practicing for a while.
A lot of people who are worries about it from the start, are usually worried about the journey itself, not what will happen after and neither are predictable. If you have read through all of the FAQ and the Health and Safety can give a little information on why you may not want to do it, or at least not at this moment.
It all comes down to you as to what you choose. There is not garuntee of enlightenment, healing, hypertraveling, or looking into ones "innerself".
Also now this is just from my idea for people new to this, anybody new should not do high or "breakthrough" doses. Start small. It doesnt hurt to have a mild understanding of psycadelics with a minor experience instead of rushing in for crash coarses.
I am not sure if this will help, but good luck
Good luck and as always Happy Travels
